Chapter 15: Beneath the Shadow of Monarch

Coast of England
Ulrich POV

Our escape is cut off by Monarch who is glaring at us while staring at the sea to make sure that the U-Boat hasn't coming back while at the same time there is no one coming which I'm confuse until Monarch speak.

Monarch: "If you're wondering if there are any more Royal Navy girls coming than you can save your breath since it's just me. I'm not let anyone to get the reward and I want to proof to her majesty that I'm the best battleship in the Royal Navy unlike my sisters."

Monarch open fire her shells which we both dodge while at the same time Fredrick still have a hard time to move his legs, but was able to keep going. We need to figure out how to escape, but without getting hit by Monarch's heavy cannons; however that cause me to be distract me from getting hit by Monarch and send me flying toward one of the boulders which shatter into pieces. That got me off guard and try my best to stand up and summon my rig to return fire, but she was able to dodge it and return the same attack right back at me, but I was able to dodge it in time. The fight rages on for couple of hours until I can hear Fredrick calling to me.

Fredrick: "LET'S GO ULRICH!"

I stare at him with a boat that wasn't there before and I notice U-556 peeking her head above the water which I about to figure out what's going on here. She is going to face Monarch if I draw her toward the water so I jump to the coast of England which Monarch is pursuing me. Everything is gong to plan until Monarch jump in front of me with her blade against my neck when I got to close.

Monarch: "Game Over."

Ulrich(smirk): "Yea, but for you."

She's confuse until she notice a couple of torpedoes is heading toward her which she was able to dodge the attack and U-556 appear out of the water with a smirk on her face.

U-556: "U-556 Reporting for duty."

Monarch: "Do you think I'm afraid of a submarine and is it foolish to show yourself?"

U-556: "Unlike my sisters; I'm not afraid to show myself."

Monarch: "Than it's your funeral."

English Channel
Monarch POV

I continue to open fire at U-556, but she's keep dodging my shells with speed; why is she not hiding and attack me from below. I notice that Ulrich and the prisoner has escape from my grasp when I notice another U-Boat arrive with them on board before disappearing into the water level. I fail to recapture the prisoner and capture Ulrich, but I can capture a U-Boat and I will be better than the other sisters. I can see that U-Boat girl sitting on her rig with a smile on her face which is pissing me off as if she won this fight.

Monarch(angry): "DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME!"

I open fire, but instead going underwater; she leap up above me after dodging my shells which I was shock and stun at the same time; I can't move my body while I stare at the little girl with a smirk on her face.

U-556(smirk): "Don't estimate the Sea Knight of Bismarck."

After that; she hit me with her torpedoes before disappear into the water and that was the end of the fight. I lost against a submarine and my targets have escape from my grasp; how can I face the Queen now and my sisters now. I notice Neptune coming out from the forest and watch the whole thing.

Monarch: "Are you here to mock me?"

Neptune: "Negative; it was unavoidable that Bismarck would send her best knight to the rescue operation. You should have at least have a destroyer just in case since their skill for this operation, but you let own personnel gain to cover your judgement. We better go and report this to her majesty about our failures."

Monarch: "I stay here for now."

Neptune left while I continue flowing along the water, but another person came along which is Howe who is one of my sisters.

Howe: "How long are you going to sulk sister?"

Monarch: "Leave me alone Howe; I failed my mission and I deserve nothing but punishment."

I was about to stand up and face the wrath of the queen, but I got stop by Howe who is holding me tight with tears in her eyes. What is she planning?

Howe(crying): "PLEASE MONARCH! WE'RE SISTERS AREN'T WE? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO HARD ON YOURSELF? EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR YOU AND YET YOU NEVER SHOW UP WHEN WE HAVE OUR OUTINGS! Please stop hurting yourself."

I watch Howe continue to cry and I start to notice my sisters showing up with worry in their eyes. Queen Elizabeth arrive late along with her guards with a smile on her face, but why isn't she angry?

QE: "Although our enemies have escape; I'm glad that no one is hurt from this fight. You're important member of the Royal Navy just like everyone else here. What happen in the past was our grave mistake and we're going to make it right. Please enjoy with your sisters."

The Queen left with her guards while my sisters embrace me.

Fredrick POV

We depart from the U-Boat that save us from the Royal Navy and notice Tirpitz is waiting for us at the dock with a smile on her face before she hug me which makes me blush.

Tirpitz(happy): "I'm glad that you're alright, but from now on; you stay with my fleet at all times."

I accept that offer, but first we got something to report with Bismarck about this project that Ulrich discover during her infiltration. I wonder what it is.
