Chapter 29: Echoes of the Past

15 Years Later
Fredrick's House, Iron Blood
Fredrick POV

It's been 15 years since the Battle against the Emperor and peace has ended 5 years later by the destruction of the Empress and her project. Today is the day of Bismarck's death so I'm setting things up for our trip to see Bismarck's Tree, but right now I need to wait for Tirpitz who is coming back from her meeting with the leader of the Sakura Empire. Meta Akagi was defeated and return to normal after her fight against her own faction including Azur Lane with the help of the newly born Amagi. I can hear a little girl running downstairs who is wearing a blue dress with an Iron Cross on her necklace; her name is Mona Bismarck after the Countess who is German-American plus it was Tirpitz idea to come with a name after Bismarck.

Mona: "Daddy; when's mommy coming home?"

Fredrick: "She would be here soon darling; she is very busy woman. She is the leader of our great country after all."

Right on cue; we can see Tirpitz coming in with a tire look on her face, but smile as soon she notice us in the living room. Mona hug her mother while I kiss her on the lips while I greet her.

Fredrick: "Welcome home babe; how's the meeting?"

Tirpitz: "Long trip; I can't believe that I have to wait for another hour to wait for Yamato. She was talking with her second command Nagato about using Meta powers until she forgot that we have a meeting. It was Amagi who inform Yamato that I was waiting for her. Makes me want to leave and never come back again."

Fredrick: "Did that; this will cause negative impact between us and the Sakura Empire."

She knows and continue to talk until we forgot that Mona is watching us have serious discussion and grab onto Tirpitz's military dress.

Mona: "Mommy.. Daddy? Should we get going?"

We agree with Mona and get things ready before heading out; Tirpitz order Z23 to keep an eye out of the base while their away which she agree to and of course Prinz Eugen is on vacation with Nijmegen because they start dating 3 years after the Battle against the Emperor. Nijmegen still loves Bismarck, but he moves on because that is what Bismarck wants for him to do and continue fighting for Iron Blood. Right now; Prinz Eugen is pregnant with Nijmegen's child so she is taking a break from the fighting. We got into our car and drove to where Bismarck laid.

Time Skip
Nerthus Graveyard, Iron Blood

We reach the graveyard where there is a huge tree at the center of the graveyard, but has a huge statue in front of it. That is where Bismarck grave is located at. In front the statue; there is a plate that says "Remembrance of a powerful leader and a great sister Bismarck."

Tirpitz lay the flowers in front of the statue while she is talking to Bismarck in spirit while Mona and I pray that she is been watch. It's been so many years since I arrive in this world, but now I found my purpose in life by helping my wife to lead this great nation to the Golden Age. I wonder if there another world out there that Tirpitz has the similar lifestyle as me during the war.

Mona: "Something the matter daddy?"

Fredrick(happy): "Nothing sweetheart; I was thinking about the future."

We both left the graveyard after we finish spending time at the tree and have a nice lunch.

This is the end of the chapter for this world of just Azur Lane, but in our next and final chapter; we're going to the world where shipgirls exist in the world of Wolfenstein as a special section.
