Chapter 19: Dragon's Wrath

Arctic Ocean
Nijmegen Zwei POV

After I transform into my Zwei form; I can feel the extreme heat flowing inside of my body including my rig like a dragon who is on a rampage; which it is similar to Lady Bismarck's Zwai form which I name the dragon Siegfried after our massive defense along the Iris Orthodoxy territory which is now Vichy Dominion and Iris Libre.

Nijmegen: "Come forth Siegfried."

The dragon road as the entire regions of ice starts to melt from my aura of heat while Gettysburg is worry about this, but haven't move an inch from his fighting position. He's going to fight with everything he has because just like me; he has something he is fighting for.

Gettysburg: "I can't back down. I promise Big Sis that I will bring victory. COME FORTH FENRIR!"

The giant ice wolf howling toward the sky which cause the sky is been cover in clouds and snow start to fall like the end of the world is coming, but if I defeat the ice wolf than the sky will return to normal. I look at one of my turrets and it's ready for a showdown which I smirk and decide to end this in one fell swoop.

Nijmegen: "Sorry Gettysburg, but time is up... HELLFIRE!"

I aim my dragon's mouth which contains the turret that is overheating during the Battle and a large ray burst of flames came out of the dragons mouth which send trail of steam toward Gettysburg, but he didn't move and decide to block it which was a big mistake. The giant ice wolf starts to melt and the massive temperature is causing Gettysburg some pain like he got splash by boiling water. One thing for sure that ice can't handle a massive heatwave and this is one ticket victory for me.

Gettysburg(pain): "AAAAAAH!?"

I can see Gettysburg burnt body on the water including his burnt clothes. He won't able to fight anymore since his rig is melting from the Hellfire and it's going to take a long time for him to recover from this fight. I return to normal and prepare to retreat before more enemy fleet arrive to support him. I approach the main fleet and order a retreat.

Nijmegen: "Our job here is done; let's retreat."

Everyone: "Understood."

We left the Arctic Ocean while I look back again and see Gettysburg still pass out from the fight. We use the mist that I created to disappear from view.

Meanwhile
Arctic Ocean
Cleveland POV

We're heading toward where Gettysburg is fighting against the Iron Blood fleet, but have a hard time to see where we're going because of the mist. We try to yell for Gettysburg, but there was no respond which is making us worry until Denver trip over someone in the mist.

Denver: "What did I trip over?"

We both stare at a body that is flowing in the water which was Gettysburg all burnt up including his rig is melting from the massive heat and he is sinking to the bottom of the water. We grab him in a hurry which we check for vital sign which is not good.

Cleveland(worry): "HURRY GET HIM ON BOARD!"

The girls try their best to lift him off from the water before he start to sink and take him on board of my vessel before we take him back to friendly water so he can be treated in the medical facility, but I worry about what would happen if Enterprise finds out about this since she is station in the Pacific Ocean against the Sakura Empire. Once we put him on board on the bed so he can recover; I can see tear or a sign of disappointment in his eyes, but have a hard time to speak due to the burns.

Gettysburg(sad and pain): "I'm..... Sorry.... Sis...... I try."

Only person he is talking about is Enterprise and we both give him some time alone so he can recover from his wounds while we make our way back home.

Hamburg, Iron Blood
Fredrick POV

We arrive back at the Fatherland after our mission from Greenland and we able to stop the Royal Navy project and defeat USS Gettysburg the newly built kansen with the help of KMS Nijmegen. We can see Bismarck and her sister Tirpitz waiting for us at the port. Nijmegen went first and report his fight which please Bismarck.

Bismarck: "Welcome back Nijmegen; how's the battle?"

Nijmegen: "The base is destroyed and we defeat a newly Eagle Union kansen."

Bismarck: "I can see that you have no choice but to use Zwei form. Well; if that's the case than I let it slide since you encounter a new enemy."

Nijmegen: "Thank you madam and now I need to report this to Isaac."

Nijmegen left while Bismarck inform me about the situation in the Middle East with August.

Bismarck: "August fleet have manage to hold the enemy forces in the Middle East and we're going to resupply them through Romania."

That's route will take them into Turkey, but if we have permission from them than we can use the canal to make our route must easier without going through the Atlantic Ocean and get hit by Azur Lane. I can see Tirpitz want to say something, but Bismarck got the first action.

Bismarck: "Fredrick and Tirpitz; I want you two have a vacation since you help our operation and there are no operation until further notice."

This makes me happy to enjoy some time with Tirpitz since we didn't have a chance to enjoy ourselves without fighting against Azur Lane or another operation have occur. Bismarck whisper something to Tirpitz which cause her to blush like crazy and almost shouting at her, but Bismarck disappear along with Nijmegen.

Tirpitz: "My sister is always saying something crazy."

Fredrick: "What do you mean?"

Tirpitz(blush): "Nothing; let's enjoy our vacation while we have the time."

Looks like our next 5 chapter arc will be vacation time for us before our next battle.
