Twentieth Five Chapter

I'm looking for my socks when I heard my phone rang. I took a glance of my phone on the table, and saw that Duke is calling.

I get my phone and answers it.

"Hey love, napatawag ka?" Agad na tanong ko.

"I have an emergency operation, I'm sorry I can't watch your finals," he answered. His voice sounds down.

"Hey don't be down, it's okay. You can watch our game online, for sure it'll be posted online. Don't worry love, maipapanalo ko ang laban," I chuckled. I heard a sigh from the other line. My baby is getting worried that made me smile. "Duke it's really okay, life that you'll save is important, well I know I am important but saving life is more than meaningful," nakangiting sambit ko.

"I love you," I heard him say.

"I love you, I love you, I love you, go na save another life," nakangiting sambit ko.

"Yeah. I'm going. I love you. Win the game," sabi niya , after that I ended the call. Ako taga end ng call sa aming dalawa.

"Once again congratulation Smash Slayers!" I heard the emcee announced. We got the trophy again. We got the another win again. And I got the title again.

"Miss Montenegros, do you have a word for the fans who never failed of supporting you?" The emcee asked. Of course I have a lot of word for them.

"Hello dear Slayers, we got this again, thank you for unfailing love and support since game 1 until the last game, no exact word can really explain how grateful I am, and we are grateful for having you guys. Thank you also for your encouraging words and efforts, and thanks for the positives vibes. And yeah to my family, to our families we love you all so much, thank you sa lahat," I stopped to take a breath, dama ko pa rin yung pagod from the game. "And to our partner, especially to my partner, thank you Duke," sabi ko then I passed the mic sa emcee.

"Speaking of your Duke, I think I saw him earlier," chika ng emcee, should I answer that? Kasama pa ba sa interview yan? He passes me the mic. I awkwardly get it.

'I think kamukha niya lang yan, he's in the hospital," sagot ko.

"But he's really here," I can't compose myself longer, my brows suddenly went furrowed. I secretly roamed my eyes around and I didn't see his face. But I am reall hoping na makita siya because I totally miss him. Two weeks na ata ang nakalipas since the last time we saw each other.

But everything was cleared up when I smell a familiar a scent. A scent smells like home.

Agad akong lumingon, my lips plastered a sweet smile when I saw my home holding a bouquet of white tulips. He's wearing a Ralph Lauren
army green polo, partner with beige bottom. I think I'm in love over again.

He gave me a semi hug with matching "I'm sorry I'm late," he whispered.

Hindi ko siya sinagot I awkwardly smiled at the camera in front.

"Everyone, Duke my home," pagpapakilala ko. Tili from everyone was heard after my official announcement, during our game some or let me say a lot of people keep on asking me who I was dating, some of them guessing wrong, totally wrong, and some guesses are right but they don't have a valid proof so they're not pushing that guess. Well they only knew that Alonzo and I are just friends, so they really ending up na hindi talaga si Alonzo ang boyfriend ko.

And about sa panggugulo ng ibang fans namin kay Alonzo, I'm not the reason behind it, it's his face. He stand out when I got into an accident, there's a post about him and after that it got spread hanggang sa nalaman nila that he's working at LV kaya ayon they always making sugod there just to take a glance of him.
