Auria

This weekend's happenings were running around my head as I was walking to class today. It was such a crazy turn, and I don't know if I'm up for it.

As I entered the class, my eyes seemed like they had a mind of their own because they immediately looked for Rafael.

His presence both relieved my spirits and somehow made me anxious at the same time. My feelings are weirdly contradicting right now! Parang may dalawang taong nagtatalo sa utak ko ngayon.

I sat on my usual seat, just in front of his, and beside Amelie's. Wala pa ring bago, late pa rin si Amelie.

After sitting down, I felt someone's presence closely behind me, followed by a voice.

"Good morning..." Rafael softly greeted.

I smirked then I turned my head to look at him. Our faces were inches away because he was leaning towards my chair.

"Good morning. Kanina ka pa?"

Our eyes remained in contact with each other the whole time. He looks so cheerful today.

"Nope, just a few minutes earlier than you," he said then he handed a folded cream-colored paper to me. I was met with confusion, but he just smiled.

The professor's voice, who just came in, echoed in the classroom so I had to face the front side of the room, turning away from Rafael.

Even though our professor was already talking in front, curiosity got the best of me when I found myself discreetly unfolding the paper in my hand.

It was half of the size of a short bond paper, and it smells like lavender! I so love scented stationery!

On it was a handwritten letter, with Rafael's handwriting, I assume.

The noise around me seemed to fade as I began reading the short letter.

"Good morning =)
Yesterday, sabi mo, dalawa ang class mo today. Would it be fine with you if I take you out for lunch after your first class?

Sincerely,
Syempre, sino bang nag-abot sa'yo nito? Haha!"

The last bit made me want to laugh so hard, but I had to contain my laughter or else.

I folded the paper back up, then I slipped it in between the pages of my binder. I then turned a little to look at Rafael.

"Yes," I mouthed as a response to his question.

He flashed a suppressed smile, and he gave me a single nod to let me know that he acknowledged my answer.

Well, I guess he's starting to court me na. Umamin eh. Haha!

Hindi lang pala late si Amelie. Absent pala ang babaita. Basta hindi siya pumasok within the first 30 minutes of class, absent na 'yon.

We were halfway into the class, when I felt an uncomfortable feeling in between my legs. It took me a while to realize what's happening.

Oh gosh! Nagkaroon yata ako!

My eyes flew open in shock, and I immediately began looking for a sanitary pad in my bag.

Kung sinuswerte ka nga naman, hindi ko pala na-refill 'yung sanitary kit ko! OMG!!

The teacher wasn't looking so I stood up then I covered the back of my pants with my hands, rushing to get out of class.

I quickly ran to this floor's restroom before any kind of disaster could happen pa.
