(Flashback 13 years ago)

"Tch. I'm sick of you always telling me what to do. I'm not a child, so you can't stop me from going!", she scolded.

Oh no. They're at it again.

"Katsumi you're being unreasonable. You know this is a bad idea!", he yelled.

"What?! Me going to a party? Unlike you, I have hobbies. I'm not gonna sit in here all day"

"I don't care if you don't want to stay in, but you're missing the big picture. That guy is gonna get you in trouble"

"You say the same thing every time. What guy isn't gonna get me in trouble? Hm? Maybe Okuda from general studies", she sassed.

"Fine, do what you want like you always do. You never listen to reason"

"That's because there is no reason. It's a party Sho"

"Yeah right. That's what you said 2 months ago and you know what happened. Otani isn't a guy you should be around and you know it, but you're too stubborn to see it", he scorned.

"Otani is a decent guy and you're too jealous to accept it"

"Jealous? What is there to be jealous about? I'll never be jealous of a guy like that"

"Then why are you so mad that I'm going to this stupid party?!"

"Because like you said it's stupid!"

"I'm done arguing. I'm going and you can't stop me"

I heard the door shut, Katsumi grabbing her coat as she said bye to me, leaving out to the party. She's been talking about this for a few days now, so I wondered why until today he decided to speak up on it.

I went to check on Shouta. He was sitting on his bed with his face buried in his hands, mumbling to himself, "Hey sweetie. You want to tell me what all that was about?"

He shook his head, laying his back on the mattress, "She doesn't listen"

"Let me fill you in on a secret. People argue. You two may not see face to face right now, but there will be a day when you will"

"Sure. That will be the day All Might retires as the number one hero. Never"

I sighed and held his knee, "You two are young, so that's good"

"How is that good?", he grumbled.

"Because...you have time"

(End of flashback)

Those two share the same habits, yet things always go sideways. I have my fair share of theories, but the fact is that those two haven't gotten over each other.

They must think I'm a fool if they think I don't know what happened all those years ago. I'm a mother after all and I know my son. He was a hero, not an actor, so I could easily read that boy.

This whole lunch was a strategy. Their reactions to every comment I made, their responses to one another, they couldn't have been more obvious. It's like watching two naive teens.

Leaving the house was for the best and if I'm right, those two would be reunited by the time I come back.

I went to go shopping for the time being seeing as though I haven't had time for myself these past couple of days. My focus has been set on Shouta to make sure he was ok, but as long as Katsumi is around, I'm sure his mental will find the peace it's been searching for.
