I woke up at nine. Today was my mother's wedding. I put on a dress, combed my hair, painted my nails and washed myself. After ten minutes I was ready to leave. Only my mother took a long time to dress and comb her hair. And when she finished, we went outside the house and waited for the groom. When he arrived, we got into the car and drove. I looked out the window and admired the views of Tokyo. The journey took a very long time because the wedding was to be close to the center and we lived in the suburbs. When we arrived, guests were already waiting for us. My mother's father, my grandfather, walked her down the aisle. The priest said the marriage vows, and my mother and her fiancé repeated them. Then I gave them wedding rings. They exchanged them and kissed. After that there was a wedding. Cake, dancing, food, party and more party. There were a lot of guests at this wedding:
Grandfathers and grandmothers, uncles and aunts, cousins and cousins, friends of the groom and the bride, bridesmaids and groomsmen. It was a big party. There was a lot of dancing, joy and fun. I saw my mother happy and kissing my stepfather. She was happy with him. I smiled and went dancing. It was difficult for me to adjust to Tokyo, but I managed to make friends. I am no longer that scared girl who leaves her hometown and comes to the capital. At first, it was difficult for me to leave Hiroshima, because there I had everything I loved, but sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone. I learned that discovering new things and places may not be as bad as it seemed at the beginning
