Y/N was never one to be swayed by the allure of power or charm, but there was something about Professor Riddle that drew her in. Maybe it was the way his dark eyes seemed to see right through her, or the way his deep voice resonated with authority and mystery. Whatever it was, she found herself unable to resist him.

Tom Riddle, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts, was an enigma. His lessons were captivating, filled with knowledge and a subtle intensity that left the students hanging on his every word. Y/N, a seventh-year student, was no exception. But her fascination with him soon turned into something more when she discovered that the feeling was mutual.

Their secret meetings began in the late hours of the night, hidden away in the shadowy corners of the castle where no one would think to look. The thrill of their forbidden affair made Y/N's heart race, and every moment with Tom felt like stepping into a dangerous, exhilarating world.

One evening, as they shared a stolen kiss in an empty classroom, the door creaked open. They broke apart to see a wide-eyed first-year student standing there, mouth agape.

"Professor Riddle?" the student stammered.

Tom acted quickly, drawing his wand. "Obliviate," he whispered, and the student's eyes glazed over as the memory of what he had seen was wiped clean. Tom guided the student out of the room, sending him back to his dormitory.

Turning back to Y/N, his expression was grave. "This has to stop," he said, his voice pained. "It's too dangerous. We can't risk this happening again."

Y/N's heart shattered at his words. "Tom, please—"

But he shook his head. "It's over, Y/N. We can't continue like this."

The following days were torturous. Y/N tried to focus on her studies, but every corner of the castle reminded her of him. His presence was everywhere—in the classroom, in the hallways, even in her dreams. She knew she had to move on, but the ache in her chest felt unbearable.

Eventually, she forced herself to try. She started dating boys her age, hoping that the distraction would help her forget Tom. She went on dates to Hogsmeade, attended parties, and tried to immerse herself in the carefree life of a student. But no matter how hard she tried, none of the boys could make her feel the way Tom did.

Tom, on the other hand, struggled in silence. Seeing Y/N with other boys was like a knife to his heart. He tried to convince himself that ending their relationship was for the best, that it was necessary to protect them both. But the more he saw her laughing with someone else, the more he realized he couldn't bear it.

One evening, unable to stand it any longer, Tom found Y/N in the library. She was sitting with a group of friends, including a boy she had been seeing. Tom's jaw clenched as he watched them laugh together. He waited until she was alone, then approached her, his eyes burning with an intensity she hadn't seen before.

"Y/N, we need to talk," he said quietly.

She looked up, startled. "Tom, I can't—"

"Please," he interrupted, his voice breaking. "I can't do this anymore. Seeing you with someone else is killing me. I know it's dangerous, but I don't care. I can't live without you."

Tears welled in Y/N's eyes as she listened to his desperate words. "Tom, you were the one who ended it. You said it was too dangerous."

"I know," he admitted, his voice raw with emotion. "But I was wrong. I thought I could protect us by staying away, but it's only made things worse. I love you, Y/N. I need you."

Y/N's heart pounded in her chest. She had dreamed of hearing those words again, but now that they were here, she didn't know what to do. "Tom, what about the risks? What if we get caught?"

"I don't care about the consequences," he said, stepping closer and taking her hand. "I can't lose you again. We can be careful, but I need you in my life. Please, give us another chance."

Y/N looked into his eyes, seeing the sincerity and desperation there. She had never stopped loving him, and hearing him say he felt the same was enough to break down the walls she had built around her heart.

"Okay," she whispered, tears spilling down her cheeks. "Okay, Tom. Let's try again."

Tom pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as if he would never let go. In that moment, all the pain and heartache of the past few months melted away, replaced by the fierce, undeniable love they felt for each other. They knew the road ahead would be challenging, but as long as they were together, they could face anything.
