Elise could barely feel her feet when she finally made it to her bed later that night, everything is starting to feel so weird. Weird as in her and Quànrui.

Why was she giggling and smiling so much when they were dancing? Why was Quànrui's voice making her heart race? And why was she blushing and Chun caught her?

"Nooooooooo!" Elise said into her pillow. Just thinking of him made her flustered all over again, what is this feeling and why won't it fade away?

Sitting up Elise crossed her arms in thought. " Maybe I should call Zai Zai and ask? No i shouldn't." Elise debated biting on her fingernails. Her stomach rumbled at that moment as Elise groaned.

She was extremely hungry too.

As she was about to stand up to get something to eat downstairs, a small stone hit softly against her window stopping her in her tracks.

"What was that?" Elise asked and almost tripped trying to get to her window. Opening her window, her eyes widened.

Quànrui looked up at her with a smile, he was wearing all black and had his hands in his pockets. "Your majesty?" Elise questioned as Quànrui shushed her, Elise covering her mouth with her hands.

"Come down." Quànrui whispered shouted as Elise nodded slowly, her heart pounding once more. "I'll be down in five minutes." Elise confirmed as Quànrui put a thumbs up.

Elise rummaged through her suitcase putting on her grey jacket and grey sweatpants along with her old converses. Running down stairs, Elise proceeded with caution as she saw the living room dark and quiet.

Tip toeing out, Elise shut the resort door softly behind her as she made it out panting loudly. Elise ran up to where Quànrui was and she bowed, Quànrui pouted.

"I told you not to be formal with me Elise." Quànrui whined as Elise put her head up "I can't help it your majesty i mean Quànrui." Elise corrected. Quànrui smirked.

"Would you like to explore the city with me?" Quànrui questioned as Elise looked at him taken aback. "With me Quànrui?" Elise questioned and Quànrui felt his cheek heat up.

"Yeah..b-because i think ..i " Quànrui stammered out before shaking his head "If you want to explore the city with me." Quànrui said nervously as Elise looked at him amused "Of course i would like to have a hot ramen bowl from the street food vendors so yes i would love to." Elise confirmed as Quànrui looked up, his expressions wide and excited.

"Let's go." Quànrui said holding onto Elise's hand as the two run off the yard and into the parking lot where Jiwoong stood in front of a black Royce rolls. Jiwoong bowed to Quànrui before waving at Elise. "Hey." He said as Elise chuckled nervously "Hi." Elise said looking at Quànrui who already had his eyes on her.

"Jiwoong will drive us there and i promise he will be extremely confidential." Quànrui said leading Elise to the car, he opened up the backseat as he motioned Elise to get in, Elise nodding  getting in before Quànrui hopped in too, Jiwoong shutting the door closed for him.

Elise's heart was racing at a 180 Kilometres per second as she sat next to Quànrui in silence at first before Elise spoke up.

"The dance earlier on was nice." Elise said turning to see Quànrui wearing a black mask and her eyes squinted in recognition. Quànrui looked at her confused his eyes darting everywhere but her face to avoid her strong gaze.

"Hey!! I remember seeing you like this!" Elise clapped in realization as Quànrui pulled his mask down. "I was hoping when you would finally realize." Quànrui commented causing Elise to laugh in embarassment "So I've seen you way before the show started airing." Elise said as Quànrui nodded.

"I actually didn't only see you that night..."

Rahne had her eyes glued to her phone as she typed fast. Her heels stomped harshly on the pavement that night as she paid no heed to the civilians that passed.

Quànrui watched her from afar, his mask still covering most of his face as he approached Rahne. "Excuse me?" Quànrui said as Rahne scoffed looking up from her phone annoyed "What?" Rahne replied rudely as Quànrui cleared his throat "Can you please direct me to the bus stop? I'm new to Shanghai and i have to get home." Quànrui said watching Rahne's face sour up.

"I'm a busy woman, ask someone else and stop bothering me damn." Rahne bit back as Quànrui frowned, she walked away as Quanrui chuckled.

"There goes a Princess."

"Rahne? You met her? "Elise said shocked as Quànrui nodded "I did that on purpose..because how would you treat me if i wasn't a Prince?" Quànrui challenged as Elise nodded in comprehension.

Rahne was being her usual self.
And she can't even hide from the Prince of the Kingdom of China.

"Good point , you're brave for doing that." Elise said as Quànrui sighed "I have no choice."

Just as Elise was about to answer the car stopped and both Elise and Quànrui turned their heads to the driver's seat.

Jiwoong opened up the backseat where Quanrui sat and Elise peeked through seeing the different food stalls all lit up and ready for service. It wasn't as packed as it usually is considering it's one in the morning.

Quànrui got out followed by Elise who shut the backseat door, Jiwoong faced the two looking at Quànrui and bowed. "I'll be waiting for your call your majesty." Jiwoong said as Quànrui nodded, Elise looked at the exchange in confusion.

Jiwoong soon entered the royce rolls and drove away. Elise watched on confused. "Where did he go? Do you go out like this often?" Elise questioned watching Quànrui put on his mask. Quànrui nodded, digging into the pockets of his tracksuit and handing Elise an unused black mask.

"Yeah i do but you're gonna have to put this on so no one can recognise you." Quànrui cautioned as Elise jumped, finally occurring to her that she can be seen by viewers of The Princess Race. Taking the mask, Elise put it on looking at Quànrui who slowly put the hoodie of her grey jacket over her hair.

Quànrui put his hood over his hair as he put his arm out.

"You ready Elise?" Quanrui said expectantly as Elise smiled locking arms with him.

"I'm ready."
