Elise and Quànrui stared at each other silently.
For a couple of seconds it felt as if no one was in that room except them, Elise looked around to see everyone disappear one by one. Quànrui also looked around and soon everyone was gone.

It was just them.

Elise felt Jihyun grab her wrist softly snapping Elise back into reality as everyone looked at her, Quànrui included. He shook his head softly, gaining his composure again, Elise went to go stand by the contestants. Rahne looking at her frowning deeply.

"Contestants welcome to the ball where my parents and younger sister which are the King and Queen and Crown Princess of our lovely kingdom is in attendance." Quànrui said motioning with his hand to the podium where his family stood. The contestants bowing in respect once again.

"Now i will have a intimate dance with 3 of the contestants, the first one being Contestant Rahne since she is the winner of the elimination challenge then the next picks will be my choice" Quànrui informed as the contestants bowed.

Walking over to Rahne, the contestants in his way scrambled to the side giving the two enough space. Elise watched Quànrui gently grab Rahne's hand. Rahne smiled brightly and the two turned to look at the King and Queen bowing for permission. The King nodded then the Queen.

Rahne and Quànrui faced each other and Quànrui held Rahne's hand with his left hand and put his right hand on her lower back. The two danced slowly, Rahne smiling widely and Quànrui smiling back. Elise watched them before forcing her eyes away unable to see them for too long.

Jeongeui looked at Quànrui and Rahne before turning her head meeting Zhang Hao's gaze from across the room. The two looked at each other before Jeongeui looked down fiddling with her hands, Zhang Hao bit his lip stressed.

Their dance ended as Quànrui turned Rahne around as she fitted perfectly in his arms, the two looked at each other silently before Quànrui let her go. Rahne bowed to Quànrui before looking at the King,Queen and Sang Zhi and bowing to them too.

The contestants soon got back to their original positions as Elise dragged her gown along with her, Quànrui glanced at Elise before making his way over to Jeongeui. Jeongeui looked at Quànrui smiling slightly as Zhang Hao looked away.

Gently holding onto her hand, Quànrui and Jeongeui turned to bow to the King and Queen and once their got permission, they began to dance. Elise looked at them dance, her hands tugging on her gown unconsciously.

Quànrui just seemed to have chemistry with everyone he was dancing with. When his dance with Jeongeui was coming to a close, Quànrui twirled Jeongeui around as Jeongeui rested her hand on his chest looking at him, their eyes were cold and loveless towards each other. Quànrui let go of Jeongeui who bowed to the royal family then to Quànrui before walking away.

Quànrui sighed softly before turning around and looking at the contestants.

Elise had her head down, focusing on her gown as she fiddled with her hands. Quànrui approached her as Rahne watched infuriated. Softly he placed his hand on her fiddling hands as Elise's heart dropped.

Elise met Quànrui eyes as she naturally flashed a smile, taking hold of her hand. Quànrui bent down and pressed a soft kiss in the middle of her hand as Elise gasped softly. Her heart racing.

Looking up to see her, Quànrui ignored the gazes of their surroundings ,most in shock as he led Elise to the middle of the floor.

"Your majesty.." Elise whispered softly as Quànrui hummed softly, the orchestra preparing to play their piece. Elise gulped nervously. "I don't know..how to dance." Elise confessed as Quànrui chuckled, holding onto her hand tightly.

"Dancing is easy." He whispered as Elise nodded her head focused. "Just pretended it's just us in the room." Quànrui said as the two started to dance, Elise moving nervously.

"No one is here but us.." Quànrui trailed off as Elise nodded. The two did a simple dance routine with Elise going one step forward and two steps back. Quànrui nodding his head in encouragement.

"Good Elise.. Just like that." Quànrui whispered as Elise smiled, her heart growing more and more excited as she was finally dancing. Quànrui smiled and his moves started growing more and more comfortable since he had to downplay his ability due to Elise having no experience in dance.

Elise smiled when Quànrui twirled her around and he held her securely, her eyes twinkled from the Chandelier light above and Quànrui felt his heart pound, helping her up the two continued dancing, Quànrui going even bolder and lifted Elise up from her waist, Elise gasped in surprise before looking down at Quànrui who smiled widely.

Rahne looked on upset as she crossed her arms, Chun looking at Rahne proudly.

Quànrui spun her around and Elise couldn't help the giggle that escaped her mouth , it really just felt like them in the room.

Just them.

When Quànrui put her down, the two stared into each other eyes as Elise looked away first clearing her throat. Quànrui eyes however continued to linger at Elise. Sang Zhi looking at the two clearly amused next to her parents.

Elise bowed to the royal family as she walked over to Chun.

Quànrui chuckled softly to himself before turning to look at the contestants who bowed in respect.

"Contestants.. we are steadily reaching the finale, that being said the competition is only going to get more intense , make sure you do your utmost to not get eliminated remember China is watching you, myself included." Quànrui stated smirking as the contestants continued bowing.

The King and Queen stood up first along with Sang Zhi and they left the ballroom. Quànrui glancing at the contestants one last time before leaving right behind his family.

Elise finally lifted her head and her cheeks were flushed, Chun noticed and laughed out loud.

"I don't blame you for blushing after that dance i would have fallen in love." Chun teased as Elise coughed nervously.
