Moriko Hirano survived a demon attack on her family, thanks to the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka. Ever since, she's been distant from others, except her husband Giyu and their family.
After meeting Tanjiro Kamado, Will Moriko ever get over her fears o...
I smile at my children sitting at the table as I wash up from lunch three months later, Giyu also sitting there.
Mamoru and Aiko are playing together.
Suddenly a black bird appears on the window sill outside and I go to open it. "Caw, caw! Moriko and Giyu, you're to head to a village near here that's being attacked by a demon. You're to head there right away! With Tanjiro's group! Caw, caw!"
My kusagai crow, Takara, flies off with a flurry of black feathers. I turn to my husband and who gazes at me as I shut the window. "It looks like we have a new mission," I utter.
We get ready for the mission before we get Mamoru, Makoto and Aiko and head for the Butterfly estate.
My Demon Slayer uniform consists of a long sleeved silver shirt and pants r instead of a skirt. My shirt has a high collar and silver buttons, and my uniform is the same colour as my silver nichirin katana, which is the colour of my strongest element, wind.
Some of my long blonde hair is on a bun held back by pins and I have white socks and strappy shoes on my feet. My haori is silver with the symbols of the elements along the bottom, including one for void, and I wear a pair of forearm length black fingerless gloves on my hands.
It'll take us three days to get to our destination.

🗡️🗡️🗡️
We get to a town one day before our destination to rest and try to find a place to eat at. Tanjiro's group is with us.
"How much farther is it?" Tanjiro asks.
"About a day's travel from here," I reply. "I figure we should stop here to eat for the day."
"We'll get a hotel soon. But first, let's find a place to eat," He says. I nod.
We eat an early dinner before finding a hotel and turning in early, sharing the same room. Tanjiro's group have their own room. The next morning, we continue to our destination.
