Moriko's P. O. V:We arrive at the village by sundown and start looking for the demon. I suggest that we split up but Giyu insisted we stick together. Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke have all split off as a group to look for the demon.
Giyu and I spend half an hour searching for the demon. We soon spot the demon lurking in the crowd, eyeing off villagers to eat.
It goes to attack a villager as they pass by but I unsheathe my silver katana and dash forward, stopping the attack by slashing at the demon and forcing it back.
"I don't think so," I say, causing the demon to hiss at me. I glance at the villagers behind me. "Go." The villagers scream and run away.
"Demon Slayers, huh?" It says as the villagers run away. "You'll pay for ruining my dinner!"
The demon goes to lunge at me but Giyu was there and swings his blue nichirin katana at it, causing the demon to jump back.
I leap into the air as I say, "Element Breathing, Seventh Form: Voice of the Wind." I swing my katana and it emits a gust of sharp wind that slices into the demon. "Element Breathing, Tenth Form: Infinite Heaven."
I slash at the demon after leaping into the air once again and the ground is damaged as I use Void Breathing. It's the element I'm weakest in, but I still try to use it if I need to.
"Water Breathing, Fourth Form: Striking Tide," Says Giyu before he dashes at the demon, slashing his sword in a flowing movement. He manages to cut off the demon's arm.
It grows back as I land and the demon chants, "Elemental Wrath Blood Demon Art: Water." He thrusts his hands forward and a stream of water heads straight for us.
I say quickly, "Element Breathing, Fourth Form: Reflective Water." I swing my sword in a circular arc that deflects the attack.
"Elemental Wrath Blood Demon Art: Fire!" He shoots fire from his hands which I deflect with my Fourth Form once again.
"So you use elemental control," I murmur.
"That's right! Elemental Wrath: Wind!" He sweeps his arm and a blade of wind shoots for us. Giyu and I dodge before he runs at the demon.
"Water Breathing, Third Form: Flowing Dance!" Giyu twists his water covered sword around his body as he swerves gracefully and slashes at the demon, cutting into it.
I use my seventh form, Voice of the Wind technique again, cutting into the demon and landing an extremely deep gash on its leg.
Giyu and I rapidly swing our swords at the demon, even as it dodges.
"Elemental Wrath: Thunder!" Electricity is shot at us which we dive to the side to dodge. So, so far he can use water, fire, wind and thunder. Can he use earth and void, too?
"Element Breathing, Sixth Form: Firewalking Rush," I say before sprinting forwards at incredible speeds with fire swirling around my blade. I vigorously slash at the demon, landing a few deep cuts.
I leap back just as it's about to slash me.
"Element Breathing: Eighth Form: Wind and Clouds Tornado." I bring down my sword in a swift slash and a tornado of sharp winds sounds out towards the demon. He manages to evade it but Giyu uses his third form: Flowing Dance to land an attack.
"Element Breathing, First Form: Cloud of Dust," I say before I repeatedly stab at the demon, landing a couple of hits that disorient it for a moment.
"Elemental Wrath: Earth!" He coats his claws in stone before lunging at me. I cry out as the demon strikes my head, causing me to stagger as I drop my sword and clutch at my wound.
"Moriko!" Giyu calls out worriedly. The demon chuckles as bad memories threaten to resurface.
I was shaking and I couldn't even lift my sword.
I could see blood splattered on the walls and my parents' dead bodies on the floor, the demon's sneering face looming over me as it knocked me to the ground and tortured me for hours before Giyu finally showed up.
"Moriko!" Giyu shouts.
"This is it, Elemental Demon Slayer!"
The demon goes to lunge at me but there's a blast of water and it's thrown back by Giyu.
