Moriko Hirano survived a demon attack on her family, thanks to the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka. Ever since, she's been distant from others, except her husband Giyu and their family.
After meeting Tanjiro Kamado, Will Moriko ever get over her fears o...
"Element Breathing, Seventh Form: Voice of the Wind," I think as I leap upwards and slash my sword down, but both attacks miss.
"The Water Hashira. It's been around fifty years since I last ran into someone good," Akaza says.
I leap back beside Giyu as Akaza throws countless punches at us. Giyu holds the point of his sword down as he gets into a stance. The punches just fly right past us as Giyu's Technique cuts most of them down.

Akaza says, "I've never seen that one before. The last Water Hashira I killed never used that."
Tanjiro leaps up behind him with sword raised. Tanjiro swings his sword in a circular motion but Akaza disappears. Only to reappear behind Tanjiro about to thrust the side of his hand into his neck.
Tanjiro couldn't move in time.
Tanjiro aims his sword for Akaza's right leg. Akaza abruptly does a hand stand while thrusting his right leg up but it hits the flat of Tanjiro's blade instead of the boy himself. Giyu appears in between them and deflects Akaza's attack from Tanjiro, water swirling around his sword.
Akaza says as Giyu and I deflect his attacks, "Elegant! This is finely crafted swordsmanship! Splendid! Give me your name!! What is it!!! I want to remember you!!"
I deflect more attacks.
Giyu says coldly, "I will not give my name to a demon. Names are not to be shared. I hate speaking, so don't talk to me."
"Ah, okay. So you hate talking," Says Akaza. "But I love talking. I'll ask you again and again! For your name!" When Akaza brings up his leg to us, light flashes brightly and Giyu and I are sent flying through the wall.
I hear Tanjiro calling our names worriedly.
Giyu gets to his feet and looks at me worriedly. "Mori-chan, are you okay?"
"Yeah," I mutter. Giyu holds out his hand and helps me to my feet. I gaze around. "We're pretty far from Tanjiro, huh?"
"Let's go back," Giyu says.
"Right, I say, nodding. We return to the fight in time to see Tanjiro on the ground after having taken off Akaza's right hand.
"Hirano, Giyu-san!!" Tanjiro says in relief.
"We're angry now," I say lowly with my bangs hiding my left eye.
"There's a searing pain in my back," Says Giyu. "Great job blasting us all the way back there, Upper Moon Three."
Giyu now has his Demon Slayer mark crawling across his left cheek. His resembles flowing water. I have one too, and it resembles the same as the other elemental Demon Slayer marks.
