The Harmony of Elements (Giyu Tomioka X OC)

Chapter 6

Moriko's P. O. V:

I straighten up as I glare daggers at the demon and point my sword threateningly at it.

"You're finished!"

Tanjiro says as he and the others join me, "We'll help you!"

"No," I cut in, causing them to look at me. I don't take my gaze away from my enemy. "He's mine!" They glance at each other warily but I was already moving. "Six Form: Firewalking Rush!" I sprint towards the demon as fire swirls around the blade and slash repeatedly at it.

I manage to land a couple of cuts.

"Fifth Form: Fire Outbreak," I say as I slash swiftly once with my sword, knocking the demon back as I cut off its arm. I feel Inosuke and Tanjiro gazing at me in awe. "Eighth Form: Wind and Clouds Tornado." I slash my sword and the demon is knocked back with a tornado of sharp wind.

"First Form: Cloud of Dust." I go to meet the demon and repeatedly stab at it, disorienting it. The demon hisses at me as I steady my stance. "Trying to kill me while I'm having flashbacks? Bad move! Trying to kill my husband in front of me? That's your worst mistake!!"

"Technically I was aiming for you, and he got in the way!" The demon tells me, making a deep frown appear on my face. "So, it was his own fault, really." The demon shrugs and I land a powerful kick that sends him staggering, shocking Tanjiro and the others.

"Again, a big mistake! Third Form: Cruel Drowning," I say before I dance around the demon, slashing at it from different angles. It tries to dodge but I kick it to the ground once more before I leap up. "Seventh Form: Voice of the Wind."

I slash with my sword and the demon is hit with sharp wind.

I land as I use my second earth form to create a fissure that the demon falls through. It climbs out but I was there with my Firewalking Rush technique, cutting off its legs on one fell swoop.

The demon blasts air at me but I use my second water form to deflect it. It shoots thunder in my direction but I dance away to avoid it, using my first earth form again. I then use my eighth wind form to hit him with a tornado that makes him scream.

I don't let up as I chant, "Element Breathing, Tenth Form: Infinite Heaven."

I leap up and slash, forming circular slashes that not only damage the demon but also the ground below it. I then use my seventh form once more along with my first form.

I land and breathe heavily, clutching my nichirin katana.

Inosuke utters, "Wh-Whoa... Should we help her?"

Tanjiro says while watching me, "I think it's best if we don't." Nezuko grunts in agreement.

The demon chuckles and I gasp, feeling blood dripping over my left eye, as it regenerates. "You should've finished be off when you had the chance! Elemental Wrath Blood Demon Art: Water!"

It thrusts its hands at me and I'm knocked back by a blast of water, crying out.

"Hirano-san!!" Tanjiro exclaims. He and the others are about to run over to aid me but I throw out a hand to stop them.

"I said he's mine! Stay out of this!!" I snap, giving them a warning glare that makes them shrink back.

A large rock slams into my stomach and I'm knocked back a bit again. Then thunder hits my side and fire burns my arm.

"Dammit, dammit," I think with gritted teeth as I try to focus. The demon laughs as it continues to pelt me with attacks.
