General POV:

It was the next day and Clay let out a deep groan of annoyance, seeing sunlight stream through his blinds. He was fully clothed but let out a sigh when he remembered what had happened the night before. The memories of him and Maria fucking flooded his brain and smiled at the thought of her staying the night, still here in his arms. He looked over to his right to see Maria curled up against him. His arm was wrapped around her so he tried to let go of her gently. He'll be sure to be thinking about her every night.

"Mm." She groaned, moving about in his arms. She could feel him moving so that had woken her up. "C-Clay? Ugh, what time is it?"

"It's 7:00 am Maria. School starts at 8:00, let's get up. C'mon." He said, clasping his hands together as he motioned for her to get up. She just lay there, rubbing her eyes and looking all tired and cutesy.

"Okay Clay. But promise me you won't tell anyone about what happened between us. Pinky promise?" She said, sitting up on the bed, holding out her pinky finger for him to cross with his. He let out a sigh and rolled his eyes before smiling at her and interlacing his finger with hers, showing the alliance they had just made.

"Okay. And if my mum or dad asks, I'll just say you left through my window. It'll be fine."

"Are you sure? Why would a girl leave through your window if we had nothing to hide?"

"True, but it'll be fine. I've climbed out of my window a bunch of times, they never said shit." Clay exclaimed, apparently a little too loud as his dad heard.

"Clay? Honey, are you okay? Who are you talking to?" His dad said, his voice gradually getting louder, meaning he was coming up the stairs. Oh shit!

"Uh, uh-" Clay stuttered, clearly panicked the fuck out.

He fumbled his hands about, wondering what he should do and how he was going to fix everything. And then, without thinking, he literally shoved Maria into the closet. The last sound that was heard by her was a muffled scream. He told her to shush, placing a finger on his lip before shutting the door. Then his dad walked in and looked over at Clay.

"Dad! Do you mind? I'm trying to get changed!" Clay whined, covering parts of his body to make his story believable.

"Ah, sorry Son. It's just, I thought I heard another voice that wasn't yours. But never mind. Oh, and breakfast is ready so come down after you've showered and gotten dressed." His dad said, his hand resting on the door before he shot him a smile and then shut the door.

"Okay, thanks dad. I'll be down in a minute or two." Clay said, calling out. He waited until he could hear the last step on the stairs, meaning his dad had gone all the way downstairs before he finally decided to set Maria free.

"Ew, what the fuck Clay! It stank like shit in your closet! Do you even wash your clothes or socks?" Maria said, gasping for air over-dramatically. She plucked her nose.

"Oh shut the fuck up, Maria." He said, playfully smiling at her. "Now, come on. Go through the window and get home and eat breakfast."

"Okay, thanks." She got to his window and started to climb down, before she looked up at him. He was looking down at her through the window until she had risen a little higher, so that their faces were levelled. "Thanks, for everything Clay. I lo- I really liked last night."

"Yeah? Me too." He said, finding it hard to not smile. He was so happy, he could almost cry happy tears right now. "Well, bye. See you at school."

"Yeah, bye Clay." She said, planting a soft kiss onto his lips before climbing down and running away and into the distance, screaming "Fuck yeah!"

The sun was rising; a soft pink, pastel colour washing over the sky. The sun was bright and yellow, it was like a huge orb in the middle of the pink landscape and in that moment everything was perfect and peaceful. Well, not for long.

Downstairs awaited a large cup of espresso for Clay, his cup had a huge 'C' on it. It was given to him as a gift from his parents last Christmas. They thought it'd be something cute since Clay had started drinking coffee a lot more often. Plus, they had bought him different types of coffees to try out for him to see what he liked.

"Hey, Clay! Morning! Your mum made you a cup of coffee since you woke up a little later than she had anticipated." Justin said, taking a bite of his Oreo cereal.

"Oh." He said, shooting his signature straight smile at Justin before looking over at his mum. "Thanks mum."

"No worries honey. Now, both of you better hurry up and get to school. You'll be late. I have work so I'll see you two after school." She said, putting her arms around both of them. "Mwah. Love you!"

*TIMESKIP - At School*

At school, Clay wondered the halls with Justin and Jessica at his side just like yesterday. Suddenly, Maria walked up to Clay and Justin and Jessica gave each other a look.

"Hey! Clay! How are you? Did your parents yell?" Maria asked, biting her fingers as she looked worried.

"Wait, what? Yell about what Clay?" Justin said, clutching onto his bag tighter as he leaned in to figure out what the conversation was about. If only he knew.

"Nothing! Uhm I'm okay, Maria." He said, before leaning close to her ear to whisper to her, for her to only hear. "And no, they didn't say anything."

She whispered back, whilst smiling, "Okay that's great."

She pulled away from him and looked up at him with a cute smile. He reciprocated the action and looked at her with a genuine smile instead of his straight faced smile. It was the kind of smile where you could tell he was genuinely happy because you could see his paper-white teeth peaking through his pretty pink lips.

"Hey guys, what's all this whispering about?" Winston said, popping out of nowhere. Everyone had their hands held to their chests, absolutely terrified after being jump scared. He placed his arm around Maria.

"Hey, babe." She said, looking up at him. He planted a kiss on her head and stroked her shoulder with his thumb, rubbing it in circular motions.

"Awkward." Jessica and Justin both said in unison, in a whisper tone.

"Hey... Winston!" Clay awkwardly spoke, looking at him with a faked and forced smile.

"Let's get going, we're going to get late." Maria said, abruptly trying to change the clear awkward atmosphere, walking off.

"Hey Clay." He said, trying not to sound too friendly before he walked away after Maria.

*A/N: i'm so proud of myself for making that gif hehe*

Clay just stared at Winston walking away, watching him. He had no fucking clue on what to think, what to do next and where to be. The guilt was beginning to swallow him up. As much as Clay hated Winston, fucking his girlfriend without telling him was just pure evil and sad. So how the fuck was he going to tell Winston what happened between him and Maria? Shit was fucked up.
