Aurora straddled Jameer's lap while leaving obnoxious kisses all over his face and lips which he let her do while scrolling on his phone. His eyes traveled from her lips back to his phone every so often which she didn't like since she wanted all of his attention.

"You know I love you, right?" she told him before kissing him again.

"Yes, ma'am." he chuckled, eyes traveling to hers.

"And you know why I'm all over you like this, right?" she grinned.

"Yes, ma'am. I'm about to take you upstairs if you don't stop." he told her.

"Perfect, aye!" she clapped before kissing his cheek loudly.

"I'm not finna play with you, girl. We don't even have the time for it." he reminded Aurora who rolled her eyes.

The couple arranged for a photoshoot with Iyana since they never had a baby shower and they wanted something intimate with just their small family. They had about two hours of free time before the photographer came to the house but they showed no signs of getting up.

"Yes, we do. Plus, you've been on this damn phone the whole time and not paying me attention. I'm about to cuss all your teammates out." she huffed.

"They fuck with the kid, feel me? Training camp ended two weeks ago and they miss ya boy." Jameer shrugged cockily.

"Oh, brother." she laughed.

Jameer let his free hand come to her butt and aimlessly rubbed it. Aurora felt giddy at even the slightest touch from him anywhere on her body and she was sure it had something to do with the way he'd been taking care of her.

In another week and a half, it'd officially be a month that Iyana had been here and both of them were ecstatic. There's been easier nights since the first two weeks but the hard ones were still coming by. Aurora had to sit down and let her mother give her advice without rebuttal. Angela knew her daughter was overwhelmed with her new life but she also knew how strong her daughter was.

It would be crazy of Aurora to not acknowledge Jameer's role in the past few weeks. She stopped fighting his support and let him be the father she knew he could be and the husband he was going to be. He was glad that she was coming around to accepting help from him and others in her life. Aurora could never thank him enough.

"How's Jackson and Athena? I've been so caught up with Nana that I haven't been able to talk to them." she asked, caressing his face.

"Athena is great, Jackson is struggling. I think everything is overwhelming him and with his last year starting soon, he has a lot going on. We've all been doing everything we can to help but he's starting to shut us out. I've been debating on flying back home for a couple days." he let out, sitting his phone down.

"I'm gonna miss you so bad but I think you should. His whole life is changing from his education, basketball, relationships. He needs his brother. I'm sure your parents and sister have been helping him but you're literally two peas in a pod. Go see him."

"But I can't leave y'all. That's too long away from my family." Jameer told her, eyes flicking from hers to her lips.

"Jackson IS your family and he needs you right now. I'm Super Mom, have you forgotten?" Aurora smirked, flexing her arm.

"I haven't forgotten. Speaking of, don't you need to get her bottle ready?" Jameer raised an eyebrow at her.

"Not right now, baby. I'm enjoying this quiet time too much. I haven't been able to be on you like this in weeks. Let me have my time." she waved him off, going back to kissing him.
