I never thought that I'd think a person was refreshing, and I'm not talking about that, 'I just took a drink of cold water after playing outside all day long' type of refreshing.
I'm talking about the feeling of fresh bedroom sheets that hug you in...

Ashton's pov
"Look, it's the red one over there" I point outside of the large floor to ceiling windows of the small airport lounge we were sat in.
She turns her attention towards the tarmac and I watch as her face contorts precariously.
"Ashton, when you mentioned a small plane, I assumed you meant small passenger plane, not whatever that death trap is" She gestured to the Skylane N76RT plane I chartered for our adventure.
I bit my lip nervously as I scanned the runway for a second. "Do you want me to find another plane? It's only a 20 minute flight honestly before the next destination"
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise Jo, come on. Let me try this. You've basically done two dates and I am trying to make this seem cool" I implored her.
"I swear this'll be worth it, do you trust me?" I look at her pleadingly hoping that she'll agree to come regardless of her nervousness.
"Of course I do, it is just smaller then I am accustomed to, but we had better go and board before I change my mind" She sighs and starts walking out to the runway while I take an extra step to quickly catch up with her.
It didn't take too long for us to get settled into our seats, plus Jo went out of her way to ensure I ate away my high during breakfast. Now I was sitting with an uncomfortably full belly in anticipation of takeoff. I've never especially enjoyed flying, but I've never hated it either.
I always hate takeoff though.
I mostly hated those moments where your stomach drops. I hate roller coasters for the same reason. Hell even those dips on regular roads make me frustrated and off-balance to keep me hating it.
But... Something about this small plane was making me super uneasy, now that we'd sat down and can understand just how tiny it actually is. I shifted my phone from hand to hand and subtly rubbed my thighs as I stared out of the window.
I didn't dare look at Joliè because for some reason she can read me like a book, which is unsettling because knowing I can't hide anything from her makes me feel very jittery.
It wasn't until I noticed movement from the pilot that I glanced towards Jo who was stuck in a daze staring at me.
I immediately felt my cheeks heat up and the butterflies take flight as I stared back. It took me a moment to realize just how lost she was into her head and because I was feeling playful, I decided to test how much I could get away with.
But when I lifted my hand towards her cheek she caught me by my wrist and smirked wickedly. I refrained from jumping, even if she almost made me have a heart attack.
I couldn't hold back the squeak that came outta my mouth though.
"Votre mère vous a-t-elle déjà dit de garder vos mains pour vous, Ashton? Peut-être étiez-vous un enfant imprudent? Désobéissant aux ordres? How about following them, how well do you follow orders Ashton?" She whispered slowly and suggestively.
