In the weeks that followed, Rapunzel and Eugene prepared to return to their kingdom. Though their time in Arendelle had been tumultuous, they had grown closer to Anna and Elsa, forging a bond that would last a lifetime.
On the day of their departure, the royal family gathered to see them off. Anna hugged Rapunzel tightly, tears in her eyes.
"Thank you for everything," Anna whispered. "I don't know what I would've done without you."
Rapunzel smiled, blinking back her own tears. "You're stronger than you know, Anna. But I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
Elsa stepped forward next, embracing Rapunzel warmly. "You helped me find my strength again," Elsa said softly. "I'll never forget that."
Rapunzel smiled. "We're family. That's what we do."
As Rapunzel and Eugene boarded their carriage, Rapunzel looked back at the palace, her heart full. They had faced darkness, but they had come out the other side stronger, with their bond as family and friends deeper than ever.
