While Rapunzel grappled with Elsa's secret, Anna's relationship with Hans continued to blossom. Despite Rapunzel's earlier concerns, Anna seemed oblivious to any red flags. She was swept up in the excitement of romance, the idea of finding someone who understood her, who made her feel special. And Hans played the part perfectly.

One evening, as the two strolled through the palace gardens, Anna looked up at Hans, her heart filled with a joy she hadn't felt in years. "I still can't believe all of this," she said, smiling brightly. "It feels like a dream."

Hans returned her smile, his expression soft. "That's because it's real, Anna. Everything we have... it's real."

Anna's cheeks flushed as she looked away shyly. "I've never met anyone like you before, Hans. You make me feel like... like I'm not alone anymore."

Hans stepped closer, his hand brushing against hers. "You'll never be alone again, Anna. I promise."

His words sent a thrill through Anna's heart, and she smiled, feeling as though she could float. But as they walked, a shadow passed over them, figuratively and literally. Rapunzel, standing near the edge of the gardens, had seen them together. She approached, her face carefully neutral but her eyes filled with concern.

"Anna, can I talk to you for a moment?" Rapunzel asked, her voice light but firm.

Anna blinked in surprise. "Now?"

"Yes, please," Rapunzel said, glancing briefly at Hans. "It's important."

Anna hesitated but nodded. She turned to Hans, who gave her a reassuring smile. "I'll wait for you," he said smoothly.

Rapunzel led Anna away, her expression growing more serious as they walked a few paces ahead. "Anna, I need to talk to you about Hans."

Anna's brow furrowed. "What about him?"

Rapunzel stopped and turned to face her cousin, her tone gentle but firm. "I don't think you should rush into things with him. I know you care about him, but you've only known him for a few days."

Anna crossed her arms, her posture defensive. "So what? When you know, you know, right? You and Eugene didn't take that long to figure things out."

"That's different," Rapunzel said, shaking her head. "Eugene and I went through a lot before we decided to be together. We had time to really get to know each other. I just don't want you to make a decision you might regret."

Anna's expression hardened. "You don't understand, Rapunzel. I've been alone for so long, and Hans... he's everything I've ever wanted. He gets me."

"I know you think that," Rapunzel replied softly, "but love isn't just about the good moments. It's about seeing someone for who they really are, flaws and all. You need to make sure you're seeing all sides of him before you make any big decisions."

Anna let out a frustrated sigh. "Why is everyone trying to stop me from being happy?"

Rapunzel's heart ached at the hurt in Anna's voice, but she couldn't back down. "I'm not trying to stop you from being happy, Anna. I just want to make sure you're safe. Please, just take some time. Get to know him better before you make any commitments."

Anna stared at her cousin for a long moment, her emotions warring inside her. Finally, she shook her head. "I know you mean well, but you're wrong about Hans. He's a good man, and he loves me. You'll see."

Before Rapunzel could say more, Anna turned and walked back toward Hans, leaving Rapunzel standing in the garden, feeling a deep sense of foreboding. She watched as Hans wrapped his arm around Anna, leading her back inside the palace with that same charming smile plastered on his face.

Rapunzel sighed, running a hand through her hair. She had done what she could, but Anna wasn't ready to listen. And now, all she could do was hope that her cousin wouldn't get hurt.
