After a quick trip to the hospital, the pair arrived at Klaus' childhood home, the famous Umbrella Academy. Within seconds of the pair being let in by the Academy's chimp butler, Pogo, Klaus vanished. Nico sighed and turned to the Pogo who gave him an amused smile.

"I'm Nico, a friend of Klaus and Vanya. You must be Pogo, I've heard a lot about you." Nico introduced himself to the butler, extending a hand towards the chimp. Who gladly wrapped his hand around the boy's gloved one and lightly shook it.

"I apologize for dropping in like this, not to mention empty-handed. I know this is meant for the family but Klaus insisted that I meet his siblings. If it makes you uncomfortable I could leave until it's over." He continued, the pair dropping their arms back to their side. The chimp lightly chuckles, shaking his head.

"No, No, it's all right, any company from the children is always welcome. You look a little young to have such high-quality manners." Pogo pointed out, the young boy seemed much more mature than half of the Umbrellas.

"Trust me, I look older than I look. Besides if I want to be taken seriously, I just behave better than some adults." Nico said, causing the pair to chuckle. With that, the two then parted ways, and the boy began wandering around the manor. His heels clicked against the marble tiles, brown eyes flickering around the detailed walls. The painted frames and the Victorian designer chairs.

At one point he stopped at a mantel, which held a photo of a boy who looked no older than thirteen. He had brown hair that was swept to one side and sharp olive-green eyes, wearing the Academy's uniform. Nico wordlessly stared at the photo for a few more seconds before continuing with his walk.

The boy's brown eyes then met a bookshelf, it intrigued him. The shelves were filled with mostly scientific and mathematical books. Others were random books, none that interested the boy. Though one was the odd one out, Vanya's autobiography, Extra Ordinary: My Life as Number Seven.

"Who are you?" A gruff voice said from behind him, turning around the boy was met with a large man. A tall and rather large pale man with short dirty blonde hair. Wearing a black turtleneck, slacks, and a large trench coat.

Luther

"Nico. I'm a friend of Klaus." He introduced but it seemed to irritate the man as he gave the boy a disgusted look. But was quickly replaced with a dark glare, using his height to loom over the boy.

"If you so much as take something, I'll know and you'll regret it." The man threatened, pointing a finger too close to the boy's face. Nico raised a brow and used his hand to swat the man's finger away.

"Don't worry, I'm only here to take Klaus home after all of this. He wanted me to come, practically begged me. I have no use or care about a dead man's belongings." The boy shrugged, nothing more could be said before more people entered where they were. He felt the others stare down at him but wasn't fazed. Klaus was obviously the last one and let out a gasp when seeing Nico.

"Guys this is Nico, my little friend for the past couple of years. Isn't he just the cutest." Klaus sighed, wrapping around the boy's shoulders. Then lightly pinched the boy's cheek and tugged on it.

"Hello, it's nice to meet all of you." Nico greeted the group, the two women smiled at him and lightly waved. The Batman wannabe ignored his presence and walked passed them to sit in the corner.

Allison, Vanya, and Diego

He knew that none of them were interested in him other than being labeled as "Klaus' friend". Klaus then tugged him to the open bar while Luther had everyone seated.
