Third Person's POV
After nang pag uusap ng dalawa ay agad naka tanggap ng tawag si maxine galing sa council, ayaw pa sana niya iwan si aiesha pero ito na mismo ang nag sabi na pumunta na siya.
Pag karating niya sa headquarters ng lazzaro's ay dumiretso siya sa council chambers, pag pasok ay naabutan niya ang mga tao doon na seryoso lalo na ang daddy niya na agad napunta sa kanya ang attention.
Mabilis itong tumayo sa kina uupuan nito at galit na tumungo sa pwesto niya bago pa siya maka pag react ay agad na dumapo sa pisngi niya ang kamay nang daddy niya.
The pain shot through her, knocking her to the ground at agad na dumugo ang labi niya dahil dito.
"Do you think you can just erase evidence and walk away unscathed?" Mikael's voice trembled with rage. "You've jeopardized this entire family!"
Still, Maxine remained silent, alam niyang malalaman rin ng mga ito yung ginawa nila pero hindi niya inexpect na ganto kabilis.
Mag sasalita na dapat siya ng biglang bumukas ulit ang pinto at pumasok si enzo at parcia agad na napunta ang attensyon nila kay max na ngayon ay naka bagsak sa sahig at dumudugo ang labi.
"Dad, what the hell?" Enzo shouted, rushing to Maxine's side.
"Wag ka yong mangialam rito enzo!" Galit na saad ni mikael sa panganay na anak. "This is between me and your sister. She's the one who put us all in danger, especially your mother!"
Maxine glanced at her kuya enzo, then at her ate parcia, whose face was a mask of concern and something else understanding. Parcia stepped forward, at agad na nag salita.
"Dad, this isn't the way to handle this. Max made a mistake, but she's still your daughter," she pleaded.
Mikael shook his head, disbelief and anger mixing in his expression. "Mistake? She deleted crucial files that connect the Alvarez family to the Siniestros the very group trying to destroy us! She has compromised our safety!"
"At kaya pala...kaya pala hindi ko malaman laman ang dahilan kung bakit tayo ang target nang siniestros na yan dahil kahit anong isip ko wala tayong ginawa para ika galit nila satin, Yun pala dahil kasabwat nila ang mga alvarez! They are using siniestros against us!, gusto ng mga alvarez na tuluyan na tayong bumagsak!" galit na galit na saad nito.
The weight of his words hung in the air, but Maxine didn't respond. She could feel the eyes of the council members on her, searching for answers. Enzo turned to her, desperation in his voice.
"Max, what did you do?...did you really delete those files?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
She hesitated, the truth sitting heavy on her tongue, but the words wouldn't come. All she could do was nod, a simple acknowledgment that felt like a betrayal of everything she believed in.
Mikael's fury intensified as he paced the room, his hands clenched into fists. "Dahil sayo kung bakit critical ang mom niyo, kung hindi mo ginawa yon kung mas maaga kong nalaman ang connection ng alvarez sa mga siniestros edi sana naka gawa pa ako ng paraan para kalabanin sila." pero na natili paring tahimik si maxine at nakayuko lang sa harap nila.
"Council! Ibaba niyo na ang hatol sa kanya" malamig na sunod na sabi nito.
Maxine kept her gaze steady, refusing to show the turmoil brewing within her. Parcia stepped forward again, her voice firm. "Dad, she's just a kid! You can't punish her like this."
Mikael's face hardened. "The law is clear. The punishment for betrayal is 500 lashes. This is non-negotiable."
Gasps filled the room, and Maxine felt a chill wash over her. The council members exchanged uneasy glances, and she could sense the hesitation in Calyx's eyes cole's father, but her father's resolve was unyielding.
"Dad, you can't do this!" Enzo shouted, his voice rising. "You're hurting her for a mistake! You're not thinking clearly!"
"If you can't see the gravity of her actions, then you're as blind as she is!" Mikael shot back, anger simmering in his voice. "This isn't just about her, it's about the entire family's safety!"
Parcia's expression turned cold. "And what if Mom wakes up and hears about this? How do you think she'll feel? You're not being a father right now.... you're being a tyrant."
Maxine felt a flicker of pain at the mention of their mother, kahit pag bali baliktarin ang mga nangyari kasalanan niya lahat kung bakit critical ang mommy niya...
"Maxine, if you have any sense left, you'll tell us if your friends knew about this," Mikael demanded, his tone sharp.
She shook her head slowly. "They didn't know," she replied, her voice steady. "I'm the only one who deleted the files."
The tension in the room escalated, and Calyx exchanged a glance with another council member, clearly torn. "Mikael, she is your daughter and a friend to many here. Perhaps there's another way to handle this?"
"No!" Mikael's voice thundered, cutting through the murmurs. "The punishment must stand. She needs to understand the consequences of her actions!"
Maxine felt her heart race, but she remained stoic, her emotions carefully locked away. She had made her choice, and now she would bear the burden of it in silence.
Agad na pumasok ang mga punisher at dinala siya sa punishment room.
"If Mom wakes up and hears about this, she will hate you for what you've done, Dad." malamig na saad ng panganay na anak ni mikael sa kanya at sumunod sa kung saan dadalin ang kapatid nila.

The punishers led her down the dimly lit hallway, each step echoing in her mind, a countdown to the inevitable punishment. She thought of her friends and Aiesha, of the love and bond they shared, and the lengths she was willing to go to protect them.
Kung isa to sa kailangan niyang tiisin at gawin para protektahan ang mga kaibigan niya at si aiesha she will gladly accept it...
