MAXINE'S POV

Dumiretso muna ko sa headquarters namin, para lagyan nang benda ang mga sugat ko. Hindi ako pwedeng bumigay hanggat hindi na tatapos ang sinimulan ko.

I had a job to do.

The Lazzaro and Alvarez seals. The key to everything. If the Siniestros got their hands on those, it would be the end of everything.

They could take everything my family had built, everything Aiesha's family had fought for. But worse, they would take the one thing I was trying so hard to protect, my loved ones. My father, my friends, Aiesha.

I had to get those seals, kahit na alam ko na baka tuluyan na nila kong kasuklaman....

It didn't take long to reach the Lazzaro manor. My home. I moved quickly through the grounds, avoiding the usual security checks, knowing exactly where to slip through unnoticed.

My mind was already calculating every move, every step. I knew the path to the vault where the seal was kept.

It was deep in the manor, past layers of security that most would never even know existed. Dito na ako halos lumaki kaya kabisado ko na lahat.

I passed through the first two checkpoints with ease, using the codes only I and a few trusted members of the family knew.

When I reached the final door, I hesitated for a moment, my hand hovering over the biometric scanner. This was it.

The last step. Buti na lang na hack ko na yung security system, kaya kahit kuhanin ko ang seal hindi ito tutunog. I even hack all the cctv footage hindi nila makita yung ginagawa ko hanggat hindi ko nakukuha ang pakay ko.

I placed my hand on the scanner, the green light flashing before the heavy door clicked open. The room beyond was dark and cold, the massive steel vault looming at the far end. I walked toward it, my footsteps echoing in the silence.

The vault was coded with my father's personal identification. But I had long since figured out a way to bypass that, something I had learned to do in case of emergencies.

Then I reached in and took it.

I entered the code, the door slid open, and there it was.....the second seal. I picked it up, its weight heavier in my hand than I expected. It felt wrong to hold it, knowing what I had to do next. But there was no turning back now.

Hindi rin nag tagal naka tanggap na ko ng warning galing sa lazzaro, for sure alam na nila na wala na ang seal sa vault.

Mabilis akong nakalabas sa alvarez state at kasabay nang pag alis ko sa lugar ay nag activate na rin ang alarm nila, means alam narin nila na may nag hack ng security system nila kaya hindi ito tumunog nang makuha ko ang seal.

Third Person's POV

Nag kaka gulo na ang lazzaro's headquarters dahil sa pag kawala ng seal nila, hirap silang ma retrieved ang cctv footage bago ito mawala, kaya galit na galit si mikael.

Suddenly, one of the operatives, drenched in sweat, rushed forward with a tablet in his hand. "It... it was Maxine, sir. The footage shows her taking the seals from the vault."

Tumahimik naman ang lahat sa narinig at hinintay ang reaction ni mikael.

"Show me the footage," he demanded, his voice low and deadly.

The operative quickly connected the tablet to the large screen in the center of the room.

Pinakita doon si maxine kung pa ano nito kadali na pasok lahat ng security at kung pa ano niya kadaling nabuksan ang vault at kinuha ang seal.

Mikael's jaw tightened as he watched his daughter slip the seal into a bag and leave the vault, her expression cold and unflinching. Hindi siya ma ka paniwala na kayang gawin ito ng anak niya sa kanya...

"Maxine..." Mikael muttered under his breath, his mind racing. Betrayal was one thing, but from his own daughter? Ilang beses na siyang tinalikuran ng anak niya, pero eto na ata ang pinaka masakit na naramdaman niya sa buhay niya.

At that moment, Enzo, Maxine's older brother, stepped forward. "Siguradong may dahilan si max kung bakit niya toh ginagawa, Dad."

Mikael's gaze flickered toward Enzo, his eyes filled with frustration. "That's what we need to find out. But right now, she's gone rogue, and we need to act fast before this spirals out of control."

Napatigil naman sila nang biglang bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si calyx ang head ng council ng lazzaro organization.

"We have a problem," Calyx said grimly, holding up his phone. "Mikael, nawawala rin ang seal ng mga alvarez, at alam na nila na si max ang kumuha nito."

"Hindi maganda to dad, paniguradong tatargetin siya ng members ng alvarez organization, Kailangan natin silang maunahan na matunton si Max" nag aalalang turan ni enzo.

Mikael clenched his fists, his mind struggling to make sense of it all. How could his daughter betray them like this? What had pushed her to do something so dangerous, so reckless?

"Has anyone tried to reach her?" Mikael asked, his tone sharp.

"We've tried, sir," one of the operatives replied. "But her phone is off. We can't track her. She's completely off the grid."

Enzo slammed his fist against the nearest wall, the impact reverberating through the room. "Kailangan natin siyang mahanap Dad, please ayokong mawala satin si Max!"

Just as Mikael was about to issue orders, another operative rushed into the room, panting from exertion.

"Sir! We've tracked a signal. The seals were taken to an abandoned building on the outskirts of the city. Both the Lazzaro and Alvarez seals are there."

Mikael's eyes narrowed. "Then we don't have much time."

Calyx looked over at Mikael. "We need to move now. If those seals get into the wrong hands--"

"Wala na kong paki-alam sa seal calyx, ang anak ko lang ang kailangan ko!"
