Ryan walked slowly to Mia's bedside, his heart pounding in his chest. He hesitated for a moment before gently rubbing his hand on her forehead. Her skin felt cold and fragile beneath his touch. He swallowed hard, his emotions threatening to break through, but he knew he had to stay strong for her.

Mia stirred slightly, her eyelids fluttering before she opened her eyes, weak and unfocused. She blinked a few times, trying to make sense of her surroundings, and her gaze finally settled on Ryan. For a brief moment, confusion flickered in her eyes, but then recognition dawned, and a faint, almost imperceptible relief washed over her face.

"Ryan..." she whispered, her voice barely audible, fragile like the rest of her. The effort of speaking seemed to drain her, but her hand weakly tightened its grip around his.

Ryan forced a smile, though his heart ached seeing her like this. "Hey, Mia... I'm here. I'm right here."

Mia's eyes were heavy with pain and exhaustion, but there was something else—an emptiness, a void that worried him more than anything. He could see it: the fight slipping out of her, the will to keep going fading away.

"Mia," he said, his voice soft but firm, I've been trying to find the right words for what feels like forever, but I know that no speech, no comfort, can truly take away the pain you're feeling. What happened to you is beyond anything anyone should ever have to endure. You've been hurt in ways that go deeper than anyone can imagine.

I know right now, it feels like the world has collapsed. I know you're drowning in a sea of grief, guilt, and unbearable pain. I can't pretend to understand what that feels like, Mia. None of us can. But I can tell you this: Paul didn't give his life so you could feel like you have nothing left to live for. He did it because he believed in your future, a future full of moments and joy and healing that you can't see right now, but they're still there, waiting for you.

He believed in your strength, Mia. He believed in the person you are, and the person you still are—no matter how broken you feel right now. It's okay to feel lost, to feel like the ground's been ripped out from under you. But I'm here to remind you that you're still standing. You've made it this far, even when everything in you wanted to give up. That's strength, Mia. You are strong, even if you don't feel it. Paul loved you more than anything, and in his last moments, he chose you. He chose to save you because he knew your life was worth everything.

Even after dying he saved you by placing his foot out. Making it easy to find you. You can't give up now, Mia. Please. We need you. I need you. You've got so much more to live for." He paused, his voice breaking slightly. "We're going to get justice for you. I promise. But you have to stay with us. You have to stay with me."

Mia's breathing was shallow, but something shifted in her expression. The tiniest glimmer of hope flickered in her eyes, and though she couldn't say much, her hand squeezed his just a little bit tighter. It wasn't much, but it was enough for Ryan to believe that maybe, just maybe, she had found a reason to hold on.

Two hours ago,

Alison took Ryan's bike and headed to the abandoned park, A few moments later, Henry's car arrived, and he got out, waiting for someone. Soon after, Henry heard another car approaching at high speed. The tires screeched as it came to a stop inside the park. Stephan got out of the car, covered in blood made everything surreal. The tension between the two men grew unbearable as the conversation unfolded.

Henry's face was twisted in rage, his eyes burning with disbelief and fury as he confronted Stephan. "What did you do?" he growled through gritted teeth, stepping closer to Stephan, who was visibly trembling, his hands shaking.
