Liam (5) DDM - Too Small

Liam and his daughter, Y/n, were strolling through a park, chatting about all the nonsense that goes on in Y/n's school.

"So, Daddy, then I told him "I'm not your boyfriend." And I ran away to my friends!" Y/n explained, and a laugh erupted out of Liam chest.

"Did you really?! Oh man, that boy stood no chance, huh?" Liam chuckles, playing along with his daughter's "crazy" life events.

Y/n immediately squealed with delight when they came across a playground and ran off to play on the equipment, climbing up a pink ladder and slipping down a green slide. Liam watched fondly, until he decided it would be more fun to play with her.

"Daddy! Look, I'm going to climb the monkey bars!" Y/n exclaimed, waiting for her dad's attention before attempting to jump up to grab a bar. She missed, and landed on her bum in the sand, but of course that didn't stop her.

"Try again, bubba!" Liam encouraged, smiling as Y/n huffed and stepped back up to reattempt the jump. She tried again and landed on her knees, but still got up and brushed them off. After a few more tries, still no luck.

"I can't do it, Daddy! I'm too small!" Y/n yelled frustratedly, her voice slightly whiny, Liam just chuckled and walked over to her. He kissed her forehead and picked her up underneath her arms, holding her within arms reach of the first monkey bar.

"Here you go, bubba. Try now," he offered, and Y/n smiled down at him, happily taking ahold of the bar and swinging herself forward to the next one as her dad let her go. She completed the entire row of monkey bars, flung herself off at the end, and did a victory cartwheel to celebrate.

"Thanks, Daddy!" She giggled, and took his hand to tug him towards the ladder that led to the pink slide. "Now let's slide together!"

They played for a little while longer, before Y/n got hungry and Liam had to pee, then they went home.
