The air within the Quantum Sea was cold, a silence so thick it threatened to drown any sound that dared to exist. The weight of the place pressed down on both Lyka and Bronya as they ventured deeper into its murky depths. Seele, Bronya's closest friend and her dearest bond, was trapped somewhere within, tangled in a battle with her darker half—the Stygian Nymph.

Lyka glanced at Bronya, her usual stoic gaze betraying subtle cracks of worry. Bronya had been strong, but Lyka could see the way her hands trembled every time she spoke of Seele. Lyka's own heart was heavy, weighed down by the thought of losing someone close yet again. Himeko's death still haunted her, and though her body had recovered from the fight with Durandal, her spirit bore wounds that no spell could heal.

Lyka clenched her fist, feeling the magic surge through her veins. She had already removed three of the sealing rings from her fingers, allowing herself to access tier 6 spells—a level of power she rarely needed to use. But here, in the Quantum Sea, she knew restraint would only cost them more time. And time wasn't something they had to spare.

Lyka (whispering to herself):
"I won't let her go through what I went through. We won't lose Seele."

As they moved through the distorted space, the shadows began to twist and turn, forming into grotesque shapes, creatures of the Quantum Realm that were intent on destroying anything that wandered into their domain.

Suddenly, the darkness shifted, and a powerful presence made itself known.

Bronya (tensing up):
"Seele... she's here."

Before Lyka could react, the space around them trembled violently, and the Stygian Nymph appeared—a version of Seele twisted by the Quantum Sea's influence, her chains glowing with a malevolent energy.

Stygian Nymph (voice cold and distant):
"You shouldn't have come, Bronya. I am beyond saving."

Bronya (pleading):
"Seele, please... you promised... to come back. You promised to see the sea with me. I won't leave you here, not like this!"

Lyka stepped forward, her eyes narrowing at the sight before her. This wasn't the Seele Bronya loved. This was something else—an entity born from the Quantum Sea's darkness, trying to consume the Seele that still remained. The aura was suffocating, the waves of energy from the Stygian Nymph making it hard to breathe.

Lyka (determined):
"Bronya, we need to fight her, or she'll never break free. If we hesitate, the real Seele will disappear into this darkness forever."

Bronya (shaken but resolute):
"I know... but I won't hurt her. Not Seele."

Lyka (gently, but firm):
"It's not Seele we're fighting right now. It's the darkness around her. We'll save her... together."

The Stygian Nymph raised her hand, the chains around her rattling like the echo of a forgotten promise. In a flash, she lashed out, sending waves of crimson energy hurtling toward them. Bronya, though hesitant, managed to dodge, while Lyka raised her hand, casting a defensive spell just in time.

Lyka's voice boomed, her magical energy surging as she unleashed her tier 6 spell, forming an impenetrable barrier around her and Bronya.

Lyka (chanting):
"Veil of Aegis, shield us from the tides of despair!"

The energy shield crackled with power, deflecting the attack. But the force of the blow still left them staggering back.
