It had been a long, exhausting day of chasing toddlers around, but Heeseung finally managed to wrangle the six little ones into an evening routine—well, somewhat. The idea was to have a quiet, cozy Pokémon night where the toddlers would watch the show and sleep together in the living room, cuddled up in their favorite pajamas. That was the plan, at least.

"Okay, guys," Heeseung said, trying to sound as authoritative as possible over the chatter of the toddlers. "We’re going to have a nice, quiet Pokémon night. No running, no chaos. Got it?"

Six pairs of little eyes blinked up at him, and in that moment, they all looked like perfect angels. Nods all around.

"Yay! Pokémon!" Ni-ki cheered, pumping his tiny fist in the air.

Heeseung sighed in relief. Maybe, just maybe, this would go smoothly.

---

The toddlers wasted no time getting into the spirit of the night. They scrambled upstairs to change into their Pokémon pajamas. Ni-ki was Pikachu, of course, Jake had chosen Charmander, Jungwon was Bulbasaur, Jay sported a bright yellow Raichu pajama set, and Sunghoon was dressed as Squirtle. Sunoo, being the most hesitant about everything, had a cute Eevee onesie.

Once they were dressed, they all rushed to grab blankets, pillows, and plushies from their rooms to bring downstairs for the ultimate Pokémon pajama night.

"Okay," Heeseung announced, standing at the bottom of the stairs, "I’m going to take a quick shower, and then we’ll start the movie. Be good, okay?"

The toddlers all nodded with wide, innocent eyes. Heeseung smiled, feeling confident that he could get in a five-minute shower without any major disasters. Big mistake.

The second Heeseung disappeared into the bathroom, Ni-ki's wheels started turning. He paused at the top of the stairs, surveying the pile of cushions they had collected to make the living room comfy. A mischievous grin spread across his face.

"Hey," Ni-ki whispered, leaning close to Jake and Jungwon. "You know what would be fun?"

Jake's eyes lit up immediately. "What?"

"Sledding. Down the stairs."

Sunghoon, always up for a challenge, grinned. "Like a rollercoaster!"

Jungwon giggled, already imagining the thrill. "Let’s do it!"

“No, no, no!” Sunoo squeaked from behind them. He held onto his Eevee plushie, eyes wide with fear. "I don’t wanna get hurt again! I don’t want another alien!" Sunoo’s fear of bandages—his self-proclaimed "aliens"—was legendary after his scrape earlier in the week.

"Don’t be scared, Sunoo," Ni-ki said, shrugging off Sunoo’s concern. "We won’t get hurt. It'll be fun!"

Without further hesitation, Ni-ki grabbed a cushion, plopped it at the top of the stairs, and sat down. With a loud, gleeful "Wheeee!" he pushed off and zoomed down the stairs, landing in a heap of blankets and pillows at the bottom. "That was awesome!"

Seeing Ni-ki’s success, Jake immediately followed, clutching his Charmander plushie tightly. He sailed down with a laugh, crashing into the pile below. Sunghoon went next, then Jungwon, who let out an excited giggle as he sped down the stairs. Even Jay, who usually preferred to nap, couldn’t resist and joined in, laughing as he made his descent.

Sunoo, however, stayed at the top, clutching his Eevee plush and shaking his head. "No sledding for me..."
