After two weeks of handling six rowdy toddlers and a list of mishaps that felt endless, Heeseung was desperately hoping for a break. The boys had shown no signs of turning back into their adult selves, and even his calls with doctors and “experts” on these strange transformations hadn’t given him much hope. The manager had given Enhypen an indefinite hiatus, and he figured they might as well enjoy the time together. A holiday trip to Jeju Island sounded like a dream—a refreshing change of scenery, a little fresh air, and maybe, just maybe, some calm moments.

Little did he know, Jeju was about to face its greatest test.

---

Packing for the trip was no small feat. Heeseung packed essentials: extra clothes, snacks, blankets, toys, and—considering his experience with the boys—everything else he could think of. By the time they were ready to go, the van was packed to the brim, and the boys were bouncing with excitement.

“Are we going to see fishies, hyung?” Jungwon asked, eyes wide with wonder.

“Yes, there will be lots of fishies,” Heeseung said with a grin.

Jake, who had claimed the window seat, was bouncing up and down, one hand cradling his still-splinted arm. “And dolphins! And maybe… sharks!”

Sunghoon leaned over and whispered to Ni-ki, “I’m gonna race the sharks. Bet I’ll win.”

Ni-ki, grinning as he imagined himself as the shark, nodded. “And I’ll be the monster of the sea!”

Heeseung tried to keep the boys calm, but their excitement made the drive full of chatter and laughter. By the time they reached Jeju, his ears were ringing with the words “fishies,” “sharks,” and “monsters” at least fifty times each.

The hotel was beautiful—calm, tranquil, with a view of the ocean stretching across the horizon. Exactly what Heeseung had hoped for. The boys, however, had other plans. The moment they saw the lobby, they scattered, each running in a different direction.

“Heeseung hyung, look!” Jake shouted from one corner, pointing at a giant fish tank that he’d somehow already started climbing.

Ni-ki was rolling on the hotel lobby carpet, “swimming” and doing his best impression of a dolphin, while Sunghoon chased him, declaring himself “the fastest fish in the ocean.” Sunoo had gone straight to the complimentary sweets section, sneaking candies into his pockets with the stealth of a seasoned pro.

“Guys, we need to check in first!” Heeseung called, juggling bags and paperwork while trying to keep track of all six toddlers.

The hotel staff watched with a mix of amusement and mild horror as Heeseung finally wrangled the boys, herding them all toward the elevator. He gave the receptionist an apologetic look, which was returned with a sympathetic smile.

The suite Heeseung had booked was spacious, with a gorgeous view of the ocean and enough room for all of them. He figured they’d have some time to unwind before heading out to explore, but the boys had other plans.

As soon as he put the bags down, Ni-ki was already jumping on the bed, with Sunghoon joining in seconds later, both of them bouncing as if they were on a trampoline. Jake had immediately found the balcony and was peeking over the edge, pointing at the ocean with excitement.

“Let’s go swim!” Jake declared.

“Not yet, we just got here,” Heeseung replied, but the boys were too excited to listen.
