Riley's POV

Running my fingers through Clem's black curly fur, I couldn't help but chuckle by how soft it was. It was kind of cute too, never have I met a wolf with curly fur before. Even more cuter since she had curly bangs over her eyes but they were parted at the moment, showing her mix color eyes. She really is something else.

Clem whined, leaning closer to my touch when I stopped for a moment too long. Snapping out of my thought, I smiled, going back to petting her. "My apologies, mate. How dare I stop petting you." I laughed.

The wolf growled softly at that, opening her eyes and scowled at me. Which was adorable since she was still leaning into my hand while doing so. She's like a little angry puppy.

Trying to bite down my laughter, Clem noticed and whined angrily. Pulling away from me while pouting. Making me laugh burst out, tears forming in my eyes.

Sitting down, Clem started at me annoyed, waiting for me to finish. Her tail flickering behind her, suddenly her ears suddenly twitched and her expression softened.

Whimpering, she turned to look at the direction of Elijah's and Levi's room. Looking back at me, she whined, her ears going flat against her head as she gave me puppy dog eyes. Tail laying flat against the floor behind her.

I sighed, wiping away the tears on my cheeks. "I don't think now is the time to tell them. How about you get used to your new form before we consider letting you three in the same room. Plus, you might be confused when morning comes cause you won't remember any of this."

It's a known fact that bitten werewolves don't remember anything the first few times they transfer into their wolf. They have to learn how to be in full control before anything.

Hearing a knock on the front door, I turned my head confused. Glancing back to Clem when she let out a small bark before standing up, walking over to the door with Clem staying right where she was. I undid the locks and opened the door by just a crack, ignoring the bells that were hanging on the door knob.

Peaking my head out a tiny bit, I instantly relaxed at the sight of my parents. "Hey mom, dad. What are you doing here?" Taking a step back and opening the door more, mom came in with dad at her side. My eyes wondered down to the bag she was holding.

Mom noticed and handed it towards me. "For you, love. You forgot to pack for tonight." I felt my cheeks heat up at that. I looked away and took the bag from her, quietly thanking her as I shifted from foot to foot nervously where I stood.

Dad closed the door as I walked over and placed my bag on the kitchen counter. Looking back, Clem was watching my parents look around the apartment, anxiety and worry radiating off of her.

Upon noticing how fearful she was, mom and dad turned their attention towards her and took a step  her only to pause when Clem let out a small whimper, laying flat down on the ground. "You don't have to do that, dear." Mom said, staring at my mate. "But, it is good to see that you know who's in charge." Alphas, always want to be respected.

"Riley." I turned to dad, noticing how soft his expression was. "How about you and Miss Wilson go on a run. Me and your mother will stay here to watch the boys."

Hearing the word run, Clem's ears shot up and she lifted her head, her tail starting to wag. "Only if Clem is comfortable with that. Clementine, do you want to go on a run with me while my parents watch the boys?"

Clem nodding her head. Getting up from the ground and rushing over to me, rubbing herself against my body. Gently pushing me over to the door. I laughed. "Okay, okay. I'm going. See you guys later!"

"Goodbye, Riley."

Going over to the front door, I opened it and left Clem out first. She dash out, hurrying down the stairs and nearly tripping a few times. Closing the door behind me, I followed after her as she went over to the woods.

Thank the goddess that Clem lives right next to the forest so it'll be easy for her to shift whenever she felt like it. But she still has to be careful, humans do live around here and they don't know about werewolves.

Going into the forest where Clem just disappeared in, I followed her scent. Finding her after a minute impatient waiting for me. Sighing, I didn't bother to take off my clothes before shifting into my wolf form, ignoring the sound of my clothes ripping and tearing into shreds.

Standing tall in my beast form, Clem barked, jumping into a playful stance with her tail wagging behind her. Tongue sticking out of her mouth as she started at me with excitement.

Grinning, I run towards her.
