MIKHA'S POV

I'm having lunch together with my friends and Aiah's friend.

We're not sitting next to each other, but she's directly in front of me, which makes me feel a bit uneasy.

The happenings last night are still overwhelming, especially the kiss, so I'm trying my best not to make eye contact with Aiah.

She still didn’t tell me how she found out about my identity.

I also didn’t get to go home last night and ended up sleeping beside Aiah.

For the first time ever, it was the most peaceful sleep I've had.

We haven’t talked about "us" yet.

After the kiss and confession, we just cuddled and slept, but I’m planning to ask her about it later siguro kung may chance at may lakas ng loob.

I'm confused because I'm not even courting her, yet I already kissed her.

So, does that mean we’re together?

But I don’t want to assume or rush her.

"Ate Aiah, saan pala kayo galing kahapon ni Jho?" Sheena suddenly asked, making Jhoanna, who was sitting beside me, choke.

"T-tangina, t-tubig!" Jhoanna said while coughing, and Aiah handed her the water.

"Lamon kasi nang lamon." Stacey mumbled, but Jhoanna ignored her.

"So, saan nga kayo galing kahapon?" Sheena asked again, and Jhoanna choked once more.

I looked at her weirdly, thinking she might have ditched me to hang out with Aiah, and that irritated me because she was with my girl, who’s not officially my girl yet.

"So you ditched me for Aiah?" I whispered to her, and I saw how her face paled as she avoided my gaze.

"H-ha? H-hind—" She was about to explain when someone called Stacey, diverting our attention.

"Hi, Stacey!" Nathaniel greeted, giving Stacey a charming smile, which she returned.

I glanced at Jhoanna beside me.

Jho's face was unreadable, and I saw out of my peripheral vision that Ate Colet and Gwen were smirking at her because they knew she was still in denial.

"I was going to invite you for lunch, but it looks like you’re already having yours." Nathaniel added, making Jhoanna scoff.

"Hilahin mo na ‘yan, panira 'yan dito, shooo." Jhoanna muttered, causing Stacey to look at her, hurt flashing in her eyes before she rolled them at Jhoanna.

"Desisyon teh, desisyon?"

"Kuha ka na lang ng upuan, Nathaniel, join us." Maloi invited, making Nathan smile before he complied.

"Dude, you're gripping your fork too tight." I whispered playfully to Jhoanna, but she just shot me a glare.

Nathan came back, this time carrying a chair, followed by two others holding trays of food.

I furrowed my eyebrows when I saw Gelo and Jeremy trailing behind him.
