"THAT WAS INTENSE." Kayla sighed into her food as she brought near handfuls to her mouth.
Andromeda nodded, "Totally, but it was fun!"
Kayla rolled her eyes in a playful manner towards her best friend, "You say that because you were raised here and Master Skywalker is practically your dad."
Andromeda shrugged, a wide grin plastered on her face. "Maybe, or maybe you're just complaining because you will never best me!"
"You know who can though," A quick witted Kayla smirked, "Ben."
Andromeda shushed her; eyes darting around the hut to make sure that Ben wasn't inside, listening.
A lot had changed in Andromeda and Ben's dynamic over the years. They were growing into their bodies. Andromeda was freshly twenty-one while Ben was twenty three. Ben was the only person to ever truly see her.
Ben and Andromeda had shared their share of 'romantic' nights together over the years, but they had never once kissed. Andromeda was doomed to mope around the friend-zone forever.
Theirs was the type of friendship that the others envied. They knew the other better than they knew themselves. Growing up, they were inseparable; they were practically attached at the hip.
