BACK AT HEADQUARTERS Poe Dameron sat with his feet propped up on the desk.
"I'm telling ya BB-8, it's been a slow day." Flipping through a book, BB-8 beeped at him, signaling the General was near.
Coming to his feet and almost falling from his chair, he stood tall as the General rushed into the room, followed by a few other council members.
"General."
"Poe!" Leia sighed, "Have you brought Andromeda back with you?"
Poe shook his head; his eyebrows furrowed. Leia's tone was urgent. "Why?"
"They've found her." Leia's voice was just slightly above a whisper; her voice laced with despair. "He's found her."
"What—" Poe stammered, rushing to the giant holoboard where a visual of Tatooine was being pulled up. It showed one large Dreadnaught orbiting in the planets atmosphere.
Without waiting for an order, Poe scrambled outside to the hanger. His steps were panicked as he threw himself inside the cockpit of his ship, rushing to Tatooine before it was too late.
Leia clutched the fabric of her shirt, trying desperately to contact Andromeda or one of the nurses.
It was nighttime on Tatooine, and the medical center nurses had been fast asleep.
