CHAPTER ZERO 'PROLOGUE'

AROUND 15 ABY
A SOFT GIGGLE ERUPTEDfrom the belly of the smallest youngling at the temple. a girl of eight years stood beside a new recruit who towered over her by two feet, and she found it to be the craziest thing.
"Andromeda," A soft, motherly voice called out as she bent a knee, leveling herself to the girl. "This is my son, Ben." Leia's head nodded over to the taller ten year old.
"Hi Ben!" Andromeda beamed, looking up at Ben.
"He's going to be training here with you now," Leia tore her attention away from Ben, which, was a challenge. "I need you to watch over him."
Ben's eyes traveled to the ground as he shifted his weight onto his right leg. He felt uncomfortable with the entire situation, and now his mother had to find the tiniest person here to humiliate him in front of. That fact alone made his eyes roll tightly to the back of his head.
"Got it!" Andromeda agreed, sticking her thumb up to Leia before taking her hand into Ben's, who awkwardly held it. "Let's go! I can show you my rocks!"
Ben's eyebrows furrowed at the mention of her rocks. As he looked around, he shrugged. There wasn't much else for her to play with here, and everyone else seemed too much older to care.
Just as Andromeda began to pull him away, Master Skywalker had begun to walk up to his mother. With a nod and a smile towards the younglings, he carried on.
