"Eryx is this all necessary babe", my eyes are covered and I cannot see anything with this silk blindfold covering my eyes as I firmly grasp onto Eryx's large hands as he reassures me by taking small steps, helping me to move forward. A soft breeze of wind blows back my hair as goosebumps form on my skin.

"Yes, Cherie. I told you that our date tonight was going to be a surprise". I then feel his soft lips pressed against my palm, my heart begins to quicken for a moment as he places his hands around my neck stopping me in my tracks. Earlier that day I was running errands around time trying to buy a couple of groceries for the house. 

While I am out shopping, Eryx sends me a text as he usually does around lunchtime while he is at the office working, telling me to wear something sexy tonight because he is taking me out on a date. Since the night I showed up with nothing on but lingerie, he has been putting forth more effort to take me out on dates and spend quality time with me, which I loved so much. I was more than pleased with the progress of how our relationship was going. 

Last night Eryx came over to the house, so we could have a movie night, I somewhat coerced him into wearing matching outfits, which I thought he would put up a fight about, but he surprised me by wearing a black and white onesie with a hood while mines were pink and red. I thought we looked so cute with our matching onesies so took several selfies of us and uploaded a couple to my social page on Instagram. 

I made sure to show Eryx each picture I was uploading to my page beforehand, he even took the phone out of my hand at one moment and edited a couple of images before handpicking which ones he wanted me to send to his phone just so he can have for safekeeping. One of my favorite selfies, we took was one where I was sitting on his lap, with my eyes closed as he kissed my cheek. I loved the picture so much I decided to make it my new phone wallpaper. 

After taking several selfies together, we consumed our stomachs with nothing but junk food. I am not sure how Eryx managed to get an entire boxload of all my favorite candy and sweets from all of my favorite places in town, but he is such a lifesaver. My kitchen cabinets and fridge are now filled with several boxes and tubs of Emeralds Gummy worms, chocolate bars, caramel popcorn cotton candy ice cream. 

 Every time Eryx gifted me with something, no matter if it was food or the new Chanel purses he got me for my college graduation, it was always more than what I needed, but hey a girl never could have enough of anything. I take pleasure in feeling Eryx's body pressed against mine as my platform heels nearly cause me to trip over myself. I can be so clumsy sometimes, something that irked my nerves. 

"Slow down Verena, we are almost at our destination, love", I can feel his breath tickling down my neck before his lips touch my cheek, leaving a soft, chaste kiss against my skin. We suddenly began to walk slower and slower as the seconds passed before Eryx's hands traveled down to my right hip bone, stopping me from moving any further. 

I was getting more antsy to know if we had made it to our destination for our date."

Are we here", I ask, tilting my head left and right in each direction, with darkness still covering my eyes, refraining me from being able to see anything. Eryx answers me seconds later, "You are one impatient woman, yes Cherie, we are here", he then begins to untie the knot he made in the silk piece of fabric he placed around my eyes while we were in the car. 

Moments passed before the fabric was removed from my eyes and my eyes began to flutter open, adjusting to the brightness around me, before my stomach nearly dropped as my mouth was jarred open in utter shock at what we were standing on.
