I swipe the makeup brush against my cheekbone placing the pigmented pink blush against my skin adding a pop of color to the vibrant makeup look that complimented the anime bubblegum pink aesthetic that I was going for. My lips were lined with shimmery pink glittery gloss and my eyelids were covered with pink eyeshadow and a large lavender star on the side of my left that I drew on with my purple eyeliner pencil. 

I had been watching YouTube videos for the past week on how to perfect my makeup for my Halloween party. I could have hired a makeup artist to do makeup tonight but I just wanted to do something for myself being that Eryx wouldn't allow me to lift a finger to help the event planner, Rose, regarding the Halloween party. 

I was upset about it at first but then I eventually got over it after Eryx took me out to dinner for sushi as a peace offering and practically ordered everything off the menu at Tarokishi Hibachi Grill, even promising to take me to Japan to try authentic Japanese food. He is learning the key to my heart is food and he has been doing quite well with helping me to expand my food palate and try different restaurants I might not have taken a second glance at. But being that Eryx is a world traveler is keen on focusing on the little things and food happens to be one of them. 

I finally place my makeup brush on the bathroom counter, tilting my head from left to right admiring my work as a grin covers my face. The pink asymmetrical bob matches perfectly with my strapless bustier top that hikes up my breasts just enough for it not to spill out. The high-waisted solid pink ruffled trim skirt that barely touches the top of my thighs and blush knee-high socks and pink strappy platform heels give me the finishing touches of being a sexy sailor girl. 

I place pink long-sleeve gloves on my hands and nod in approval at myself in the mirror, before walking out of the bathroom, my heels clicking each time they connect with the granite floor as make my down the hallway and downstairs to Eryx's man cave. He is sitting on the side of the wall wearing all black with a cape around his shoulders as he has a cigar in his hands. I gasp at his red-colored contacts that cover his beautiful sienna eyes. I stand in front of him with my arms crossed in front of me as I twist my mouth up. 

"Let me guess, you are supposed to be a vampire". Eryx gets up from his seat and a brazen look covers his eyes as he walks around me in a circle before whistling. "You guessed right Cheire. Damn, you are so fucking sexy", he then whispers against my ear, "You are a fucking temptress". Butterflies form in the pit of my stomach as he stands behind me and leans his head down and presses his lips against my left cheek as I begin blushing. He kisses the side of my neck before he turns me around as he continues to smoke. 

"I want to try", I say reaching for the cigar, but Eryx holds up high in the air so I cannot reach. "This shit for grown folk, I know your ass don't smoke, this is pure-grade tobacco imported from Columbia". I roll my eyes before I manage to snatch the cigar out of his hands I tug the cigar inside of my mouth. He watches me intently as inhale the tobacco inside of my mouth before I place my hand around the collar of his shirt, wrapping one of my hands around the back of his neck, forcing his head down, as blow the smoke against his lips before he opens his mouth to receive it. 

He then captures my lips, I moan as he places the cigar on the smoke tray our tongues entangling together, as his hands roam down my hips before sliding under my skirt, gripping my bare ass. His eyes widen when he realizes I have on a lace thong. "You acting out now, you want me to bend your ass over this chair and fuck you, we got time". I kiss him one final time. "I just might, but we need to be leaving for the party we are already over an hour late".  Although I would take him up on his offer to fuck we had a party to attend to.

 I was more than excited about the Halloween party, Eryx assisted and threw the biggest Halloween bash in town and spent over $500,000 on the venue, food, drinks, and I even heard there might be a few celebrities in attendance but Eryx refused to tell me if it was true or not, he wanted to surprise me. My mouth is jarred open when Lonan pulls around the black-tinted Genesis GV80 to the front of the Autumn Shrine Hotel, and there is a long line of people wearing Halloween costumes waiting to get inside the convention hall we rented out for the entire evening. 

"Oh my god, it looks like everybody in the city is out tonight". Eryx helps me out of the car and takes hold of my hand before I fix his cape as we walk up the steps inside the hotel. I see many females gawking at my man while many guys' eyes roam down my body lustfully. "You going to get some of these dudes fucked up tonight the way they eyeing you". 

Eryx glares at one of the guys who is standing in line causing him to look away. I then take notice of the chocolate, tall, slim guy leaning against the doorframe as we make our way over to him. He is wearing a green wig and purple, and white paint covers his face, while his eyes are embedded in black paint. Instantly know what character he is portraying to be., The Joker. "It took yall asses long enough to get here", he then daps and embraces Eryx before he looks down at me. "Had to make sure my lady was straight. Verena I would like you to meet my best friend Arsenio ". I smile. 

"Nice to meet you", I place my hand out but push my hand away before he picks, me up o and embraces me, taking me in surprise. I squeal in shock at how strong he is before he places back on the ground. "Pleasure to meet the woman that my bestie friend has become obsessed with". I laugh, waving off Arsenio's statement. "Eryx is far from being obsessed with me". Arsenio looks at me with a smirk covering his face. 

"You have no idea". I am not sure what that is supposed to mean but maybe that is Arsenio way of saying he approves of me being with Eryx. Rose, the event planner, is dressed as a fairy, with yellow lace wings covering her back she rocks a short yellow dress as she walks up to Eryx and me before she hugs me. 

"I am so glad you are here, you need to see how I have brought your vision to life". She then takes hold of my hand and leads me into the convention hall. As we enter the large ballroom, I take notice of the ornate chandeliers draped in dark velvet and a sheer black fabric that creates a shadow of mystery in the room. 

There is a haze of fog lingering above the floor that gives the party an otherworldly, gothic feel. The large windows are covered by spider webs and crawl up the pillars and as well down the walls. There is a buffet table that is lined with gourmet Halloween treats with delicacies such as smoked salmon on rye bread, gold-dusted pumpkin macarons, and candy apples in shimmering blood-red gaze. 

Bartenders are hired tonight to work at the cocktail bar making signature Halloween drinks. I stop and stare at the masked contortionists who work to entertain the crowd with graceful and flexible movements. There is a medium-sized stage where a DJ is mixing music to the latest Hip-Hop tunes as well as a mashup of classic Halloween songs. "Well do you like it", Rose asks me seconds later as we make our way around the entire room before I stand on the edge of the dancefloor. 

"Yes, it's perfect, thank you so much", I then hug Rose before she excuses herself to get a drink from the bar. Eryx and Arsenio are talking amongst themselves but Arsenio walks off in the direction of the buffet table while pulling Eryx's hand leading him to the center of the dancefloor.

 I begin whining my hips against Eryx's pelvis as he stands behind me placing his hands against my waist. He rocks his hips against mine enjoying the beat of the music. A waiter with a tray of Tequila shots walks over as I grab shots for Eryx and me. We both chug down a shot before I reach for another one. 

"Damn, I see what type of night this is about to be". I smirk and begin dancing against him once more. "Yes, a lit one".
