"I can't believe you are through with this shit. I don't trust none of these muthafuckers", Arsenio watches the last person from the impromptu meeting we just had a few minutes prior with several investors who owned Hembsy Bank here in Fountain View. One thing about me was that I invested my money in establishments I wanted complete control of. Verena has immersed herself in a part of this town and now has put me on alert to invest my money into the place that has kept my wife safe. Arsenio thought I was losing my mind when I came up with the idea to meet up with investors who own portions of the Hembsy Bank. "I can't believe you just did that", Arsenio shakes his head at me as I sit across from him, smiling at the fact that I am now sole owner of the Hembys Bank. Yes, you heard correctly. I own this Hembsy Bank.

"I told you I was going to come here to set the tone and that is exactly what I have done". I had been staying in Fountain View for the past few days keeping an eye on Verena although I almost slipped up and showed myself to her when I had been parked outside of home for several hours watching her, but Arsenio kept me from making any stupid moves. I needed to be strategic in the way I wanted to get back my wife. I look over at Arsenio and smile. "You should be happy. I haven't killed anybody yet". I then place my legs across the long boardroom table and lean back in my seat. Arsenio frowns, "Like that's going to stop you from following through with killing ole boy. I've been able to hack into his phone and he is definitely making the moves to try to get Verena". I was far from worried about Kieran, he was the least of my concerns right now. I had plans for him as soon as Verena was back in my vicinity then I would make him pay for the harm caused to me and my family. While Arsenio and I are sitting in the boardroom, the doors suddenly, the front desk receptionist, an older white woman, shifts her attention from and then looks over to Arsenio. I look down to see she has a white envelope in her hands.

"Oh Mr. Vallea, I'm sorry to interrupt you and your business partner, but I investors forgot to mention that Hembsy Bank is hosting a masquerade ball at the end of the week, Friday actually". She places the white envelope in my hands before leaving the room. I wait until the woman leaves out of the room before opening the envelope, inside is an invitation to the masquerade ball. Arsenio then whistles at the fact the invitation is printed on 24k gold paper as he snatches the invitation out of my hands and observes the details of it closely. "Damn, I think you invested into a gold mine my friend", he smiles. I nod in agreement. "I guess so".

"Do you think Verena is going to come", Arsenio asks moments later. "I believe she will. This is an important event in town. I do not think she would have a legitimate reason to not come". Verena had become an important figure here in Fountain View, with her philanthropy working starting a pediatric clinic that helped low income families, so I am sure without a doubt she would attend. "I think we need to make things more interesting so it won't be so obvious that you plan to kidnap Verena at the ball", Arsenio adds. I raise my eyebrows, "Who said I was kidnapping her". The thought ran through my mind but I was not going to admit to it out loud. Arsenio belts out a low laugh. "You, my friend, are planning to kidnap your wife. It's okay I get, but to not make it obvious, I think there needs to be an auction. Every woman who has donated money for the event can participate in the auction, a dating auction in fact. I didn't like the idea of a dating auction...not one bit. It hit too close to him to my liking. In fact it was a dating auction where Verena and I's love story had begun.

The next chapter is going to be pretty lengthy that is why this one so short.
