Chapter 10

"Sam , take your brothers and get out of here. As long as you don't have full control of your demonic energy , you're no match for him." I said into his mind. Jame appeared next to me and stuck his sword right through my heart. I could feel the sword burning through it and I couldn't help but let out a scream. "Dad , no!" Shouted Eli as he tried running over to me. Henry quickly grabbed Eli's arm. "No , if you attack him then he'll just kill you. Let Sam and Cole handle this." Said Henry with tears in his eyes. Sam grew even angrier which resulted in his demonic energy taking control even faster. Cole flew at Jame and began punching him in the face. Cole's punches didn't even phase him. "Go away , I don't fight humans." Said Jame as he caught Cole's punch and then threw him onto the ground. Cole quickly charged lightning throughout his entire body and charged at Jame which knocked him backward. Cole then began to repeatedly punch him in the face again but this time it looked like he was actually doing damage. Jame grabbed Cole's wrist and then absorbed all of the lightning from Cole's body and looked him in the eye. "You have the potential to become very powerful. Too bad you choose to fight alongside demons." Said Jame. Henry teleported next to Cole and grabbed him and then teleported back to where I was. Sam then used telekinesis to hold Jame still. "Henry , grab Dad's lower half and drag it to his top half so he can reattach himself!" He shouted. Henry nodded and did as was instructed. Slowly I began to heal. The wound in my heart was difficult to heal so it was healing way slower than I had hoped. "Boys , get out of here. This guy is strong , not even I can beat him." I said. "No , can't you see? Cole and I have been able to hurt him! If we team up we can probably beat him!" Said Sam. "No! You won't ever be able to beat him until you're able to control your demonic energy!" I said. Sam frowned. James broke free of Sam's telekinetic control and then walked and grabbed Aries. "What are you doing?!" Shouted Aries. "You refused to fight so that means you disobeyed a direct order. The penalty for that is death." Said Jame. "Let him go!" Shouted Sam. Jame looked at Aries and then at Sam. "You're in love with this demon? Now you really deserve to die." Said Jame as he slowly began to crush Aries's neck. "Cole!" Shouted Sam. Cole nodded and the two of them shot a powerful blast of lightning at Jame's arm which freed Aries of Jame's grip. Henry then teleported to Aries and then teleported with him back next to the rest of us. James then grew irritated. "I know my sole mission is to kill only Sam but the rest of you are really starting to irritate me. Apart from the lightning human , I think it's time I put a permanent end to the rest of you before you become even bigger nuisances in the future." Said James as he drew his sword. He vanished and then reappeared in front of Eli and swung his sword but I managed to pull Eli backwards in time using telekinesis that I had just copied from Sam. I then grabbed my sword from Sam and stood back up. I was still badly wounded but I knew I had to suck it up and defend my family.

      Jame charged at Henry this time but Henry anticipated that and teleported away but Jame also was sensing Henry's demonic energy and he appeared where Henry teleported. Sam teleported in front of Henry in time and blocked the blade with his telekinesis and allowed Henry to teleport over back to me. Sam then teleported back over to me and he stood next to me and Cole as we surrounded the younger ones. "I have an idea." I said as I grabbed Sam's hand and copied one of his other abilities. I entered their minds and explained the plan to them. Afterwards I copied Eli's telekinesis and waited for Jame's attack. Jame came charging in forward and that's when I stopped him with a telekinetic grip. Jame started slowly increasing his power which made it difficult for me to have a hold on him. That's when Eli joined in to increase the hold. Unfortunately, not even that was enough and that's when Sam had to join in. We managed to immobilize him and that's when both Aries and Sam created a giant shell of ice to trap him in. I powered up to 65% of my demonic energy since that was then most amount of power I was able to bring out with my wound which meant I couldn't fully transform. Then Eli unleashed 15% of his demonic energy which was the most he was able to bring out. "Bro you're trying too hard. This is futile." Said Jame as he unleashed 20% of his power and easily broke the ice prison. "Dude this guy is super over powered , there's no way of beating him." Said Eli. I looked at him and then at the rest of my sons and Aries. "You're right there isn't a way to beat him right now but in time some of you may actually have a chance at beating him. Especially the two of you." I said looking at Sam and Cole. I looked at my sword and clenched it tightly. "All of you , get out of here. I may not be able to beat him but he can keep him imprisoned for a while." I said as I began powering up my demonic energy. "Wait what do you mean by keep him imprisoned? What's going to happen to you?" Asked Cole. "It's a special technique that I'm able to use where I can trap my enemy in a cocoon created out of powerful demonic energy. However that means that I'll be trapped in there with him as well. With the power he has the longest I'll probably be able to keep him trapped for at least about a year. You all have until then to get stronger so that by the time he does break free , he won't be a problem for us." I said. "Dad no , what about us? You can't just leave us alone for an entire year." Said Henry. "I have to! It's the only way I can protect you all! None of us are strong enough to defeat Jame and if we all try taking him down now then we'll just end up dead. As a father it's my duty to do whatever I can to protect my children. Sam , there are other demons out there that are just as powerful as you are. Go to Jon Harrington and he should be able to help you figure out a way to control your demonic energy. Cole , since you don't have any demonic energy it's possible for you to train and learn to become an angelic warrior. Aries is now a fugitive since he disobeyed orders so take him and have him train you. Eli and Henry go to the Netherlands with Anna Marie and her family. Tell her exactly what happened here and she'll watch over you until I return." I said. "Dad no , please don't do this! Let's just teleport somewhere where he can't find us." Said Eli. "No! As long as Jame is around we'll never be safe. I don't want you guys to have to live in a world where every day you have to worry about this guy coming after you trying to kill you." I said as I touched Sam's shoulder and copied his brain manipulation ability. I then charged at Jame and then stabbed him right through the chest with my sword. "Bro this won't kill me. I hope you know that." Said Jame as he reached for the blade. I then unleashed all my demonic energy to where it started emerging from my body and surrounding Jame and I. I then used my ability to enter Jame's mind. "Bro what is going on , why am I not able to break out of this prison of yours?" Asked Jame. "This prison is created from my demonic energy so it's taking literally all of my power to keep you trapped in here. As long as I keep your body trapped in the cocoon and your mind trapped with my ability then you have no chance of getting out of here." I said. "Clever , but it seems like you won't be able to hold me trapped in here for long. Once I escape I'm going to slaughter you and your children. I'm the strongest living angelic warrior in history , it'll take a lot more than this to keep me down." Said Jame. "Trust me I know but oneday my children will stop you permanently. I believe in them." I said.

   Sam and the others watched as the cocoon finally took its full shape. "Boys." Said a voice inside of their minds. "Dad!" Shouted Sam. "The cocoon is now complete , you all have one year to get as strong as you can until I'm no longer able to keep him trapped." I said. Sam began to cry. "Dad....im sorry...I was such an asshole to you because I thought you neglected me but now I see you were just trying to give us all the love that your parents weren't able to give you! I'm such an idiot." Said Sam through tears. "It's okay. I made my fair share of mistakes as a parent but I promise If I make it out of this alive I'll do a lot better." I said. Eli and Henry were hugging the cocoon for the outside crying. "I won't let you down Dad , I'll get a lot stronger. I promise and I'll save you." Promised Cole. "Im starting to lose consciousness so these will be my final words for now. I love and believe in all of you." I said. By then all of them were crying as my voice faded in their minds. Aries walked over to where his parents were laid out unconscious. He wrote a note and left it on Tanners chest. "Are you ready?" Asked Cole from behind him. "Yeah. I'll see them again soon." He said. Aries then turned to Sam. "I'm going to miss you. You better be careful out there. I know how reckless you can be." Said Aries. "No promises , you just be sure to get stronger and to look after my little brother for me. He may think he's the smartest person in the world but he sometimes relies on wits for everything." Said Sam. "I'll do my best , I love you." Said Aries. "I love you too." Said Sam as the two of them shared a kiss. Sam then turned his attention to his brothers. "Dad gave us our orders so let's fulfill them and get stronger so we can all be together again. I know I've been a piece of shit to you guys the last few months but I promise after we take that fucking Asshole down , I'll be the best big brother I can be." Said Sam. "It's about time. Try not to get yourself killed out there." Said Cole as he walked over and hugged Sam. Sam walked over to Eli and Henry. "You guys be careful out there. I promise we'll rescue Dad." He said as he hugged them both. "We'll get stronger too! Just because we're kids doesn't mean that we can't kick ass too!" Said Eli. "Yeah...I'm done being a pussy. I'm going to help save Dad too!"'said Henry. Sam smiled and pat him on the head and then flew high into the air and took off. Cole said his goodbyes and then flew into the air with Aries on his back and flew off. Eli took one last look at the cocoon and then turned to Henry and nodded. Henry touched Eli's shoulder and teleported to the front door of Anna Marie's house. He knocked on the door and after a few moments Anna Marie answered. "Henry? What's are you doing all the way out here?" She asked. The moment she asked him that he broke down in tears and she embraced him in her arms. Eli explained everything that had happened and then Anna Marie too found herself in tears. "I see. Well we'll set the two of you up in the guest room and you can stay here as long as you need to." She said. The two brothers went into the room where they found a big bed along with a desk , TV and a window where you can see the backyard. They both climbed into bed and stared at the ceiling while trying to process everything in their minds about what had happened to them. Cole managed to find an inhabited island for he and Aries to stay on. "Tonight we rest but first thing tomorrow we train." Said Cole. Aries smiled and nodded.
