Aryansh's POV🥀
Fuck woman, where the fuck are you? I slammed my hands on the wall besides me as I looked for her on another floor. The tracker showed that she was in The Palm Tree. I don't understand what she was doing here? But I knew something was terribly wrong because she won't go to that cursed road for nothing.
The rest of the staff was already looking for her in rooms, that's why I made my way for the terrace. The door was locked. Shit.
I pulled out my phone and request the manager to come to the terrace. Well, as politely as I can in this situation. I ran a impatient hand through my hair when the lift pinged open and manager stepped out. I snatched the keys from his hand even before he could breathe and thrusted the door open.
The first thing I met was silence. The very thing that bound me and her. I gulped. She was here somewhere. "Look around, fast." I said and strode forward into the chilling air and dripping silence. The manager looked around while I stepped towards the back part first. Where are you, Rooh?
I breathed, closing my eyes and the smell of lavender hit my nostrils. I opened my eyes with a jerk. .
I didn't called out for her in case she's in danger but I do moved myself and looked for her all possible areas of terrace. The solar panels, the hideouts, and the store room. The only part left was the tanks. Water tanks. I immediately hurried out and make the manager looked through them. There were 15 of them, having hundreds of litres of water in them. I looked the first, it was empty. The second, third, empty. My patience of stripping low with each passing moment. The crucial moments where I can loose her just like..........
No. Don't fucking go there.
I shake my head, stopping the stupid thoughts. I won't repeat that mistake. EVER. I quickly scanned the rest but she wasn't there also. Where the hell she was. "Ruhiiiiiiiiiiii" I called out for her, for any signs of her but none.
"You might have got the wrong information, sir. Your wife...."
I raised a finger, pinching the bridge of my nose and closing my eyes to think for a moment. I shake my head. She has to be here. But what if she's really not. I can't loose anymore time.
I clenched my jaw and cursed. I strode towards the door to leave but then stopped. What if ..... I froze.I quickly ran towards the railing and looked down. I gulped on seeing the distance between the terrace and the ground and why not we're on 59th floor. I stepped back and sprint to the back side and looked down. My blood freeze.
Her fragile fingers slipped from the small pole and my arms immediately jerked forward to grab her wrist, almost half swinging from the grill. She jerked her head up and her dead eyes came to life on seeing my black ones. My heart squeezed in my chest on seeing her swollen red eyes, her muffled mouth and bruised body.
I tightened my grip around her bruised skin , "Can't get rid of me this easily, wifey. " I said and pulled her up, with all my power. She placed her toes on the railing and her bloodied palms gripped the shirt over my chest. I looked in her eyes and for the first time I saw helplessness in them. My world stopped.
"Everything's going to be alright,I promise" I whispered, holding her close. With one final heave, I lifted her over the railing and onto the terrace, cradling her in my arms. We both fell backward from the force, her on top of me.
She was safe. She was mine. And God forbid the way I'll torture the person who tried to hurt her.

Ruhi's body shook uncontrollably, sobs wracking her fragile frame while I held her close, trying to absorb her pain.
"Shh, Roohi, you're safe now," I whispered, my voice gentle.
