              ✨Aryansh's POV 🥀

She fisted her lehenga  and increased her pace. My deranged heart skipped a beat on the idea of catching her and punish that attitude out of her.

She ran around the round corridor, her hurried footsteps echoing in the corridor, passing the rooms one after the other. She rounded the corner to take the stairs but before she could, I grabbed her wrist, and pushed her against the wall. Her gasp filled the air , her red lips parted and chest heaving from all the running she just did. I looked in those burning orbs while they looked back at me with defiance. My hands locked hers above her head. She glared at me with an intensity I wanted nothing more than to shut them close while my  lips work on that sassy mouth of hers.

"What did I tell you?" I murmured, my voice low and dangerous.  My thumb caressing the throbbing pulse on her wrist wrist.

"You say a lot of things, Mr.Sehgal. I am not bound to hear them all." She wriggled her wrist to loosen my hold while I relished the feeling of her struggling beneath me. A smirk played on my lips as I leaned in close, my warm breath caressing her skin.

She jerked her face to the side and clenched her jaw. Even at my mercy, she didn't gave up that attitude.

That fucking attitude.

"You really love to test my patience, don't you?" She gulped as her gaze flickered to my lips, the guroor still not leaving them.

"Yes, does that irritate you?"  She replied, looking into my eyes while her heartbeats increased when I drew her closer.

I reduced the remaining distance between our lips and hovered over her. "Trust me, nothing about you can irritate me."

"Arya..." she tried to warn, her eyes flutter close.

"Shhhh..... " She inhaled a  forced breath. "You don't want others hearing us, do you?"

She gasped audibly when  I buried my face in the crook of her neck, and breathed in her scent while my hand grabbed her waist and jerked her closer.

Damn, I can die here.

"What are you....?" Her whisper faded when my nose grazed her jawline, sending shivers down her spine. Her breathing deepened as she struggled to keep her composure, her senses overwhelmed by the intensity of our closeness.

I released a shaky breath which hit her collarbone and her attempts to break free growing feeble by the second. The lights flutter close leaving a pitch black darkness around us.  She flinched at the sudden darkness.

"It's okay. I am right here." I assured, my grip on her wrists gentle yet firm. "Don't move."  My lungs inhaled her deep rich scent once again and God forbid me, the air never tasted this sweet before. For a brief instant, just for a brief one, the world outside ceased to exist. We remained in that position and oh, how my heart ignored the sane voices of my head, just for the insane one in front.

My phone pinged, snapping us both back to reality. I slowly released my grip on her wrist and stepped back. She opened her eyes, the moment dissipating as reality settled in.

She gulped, her pupil darkened and breath fastened.

I love my effect on her.

"What happened to the sharp replies and cunning words, huh? Did they died a wet death?"

She shake her head in disbelief and something akin to hurt flashed through her eyes.

"Playing with someone's emotions is not a game, Mr.Aryansh Sehgal."
