What would she think of me if she witnessed what I am doing?

Will she perceive me as a monster? Would she be able to forgive me? Would she understand me? Or she would simply hate me?

She used to beleive in law. I did too.
But Sometimes, justice can't heal the wounds you have, just as revenge can't. But only revenge can bring the satisfaction to soothe your pain.

After a certain time, you don't beleive in justice, you tend to seek revenge. After a certain point, belief in justice fades, and the pursuit of revenge takes over. It's not about making them pay for their sins anymore, it's about making them face their sins.

I am their sin. And they have to face me.

Either I will kill them or get killed.

I am a monster now and there's no denying to that! But is it my fault that they literally took the only family I had? They took the only person I loved more than myself. She was just not my sister. She was the my whole goddamnn life.

These thoughts often keep me awake at night. My nights are sleepless while they rest peacefully. I will snatch away their solace and leave them with nothing but regrets.

Right now, my sole focus is on the person involved in ruining their lives. And for that, Ira has already started her work.

After having my sweet time with Aryaj, I returned back to my house.

As soon as I entered the house, my mother hugged me congratulating me as it was a yes from their side.

Not that I had any doubt!

I smiled. The second step on the ladder on my success.

Or perhaps, on the ladder of their ruin.

She also told me that we have to meet them in one of their prestigious hotel to fix the other things.

Next morning I got ready as usual and we reached the said hotel at time.

Right now as I am standing on the entrance greeting the elders, I could feel his gaze on me.

His powerful intense gaze. His gaze is nothing if not captive. His eyes won't let me free. And just like that I am transferred to our conversation at my home.

The weird thing about him is....he notice. He notices everything. Even those small minute details no one notices, he notices them too.

He touched my parents feets while I sought blessings of his family.

Or a curse, maybe.

We moved inside. Elders sat in one corner of the private restaurant while we youngesters were sitting in a separate corner.

I and Anya were talking about wedding dresses. Adish was busy on his phone while he was sitting in front of a chess board with Rehan.

Rehan. He is a someone I still can't figure out. He is not someone you can read. He hides a lot behind his cold blank demeanor. Also, it's s not long he have been friends with Aryansh. One day out of nowhere he popped up in his life in the name of saving his sister.

Yes, he befriended Aryansh by saving Anya's life.

Besides me, Anya's phone buzzed and she left the premises talking. I turned my gaze only to find that Rehan had left too.

He was right there, When did he left?

Maybe, when you were busy poking your nose in someone else's business.

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at my own conscience.

Finding an opportunity, I made my way towards him. He raised his eyes seeing me and nodded towards the empty seat opposite to him.
