AN: A little Boromir appreciation before we cry next chapter!!!
_______________

The sun slowly emerged from the clouds in the still dark sky, shining its soft light upon them, signaling the end of Eliriel's watch. As she leaned back on the big rock, she squinted her eyes to adjust them to the light.

Being an elf had helped her, for she did not require as much sleep as others. And yet for some reason she felt tired. Perhaps it was because the words of Lady Galadriel never left her mind at all.

Their conversation about the prophecy, her responsibilities and her past had an effect on her. Learning all this information all at once...

She didn't want to think about it for the time being.

Quietly, she walked away from the cover of the branches and stretched her arms, letting out a barely audible but satisfied sigh.

"How did your watch go?" Legolas's smooth voice was heard behind her as he made his way towards her. His golden hair flowing in the slight morning breeze.

"I'd say it went well, judging from the fact that we are all still alive." She offered him a small smile. He smiled back before his eyes shifted in slight worry.

"Are you alright?" He said, his voice filled with concern. "You look a bit tired."

"Ah, my mind has been a bit restless these days, but other than that I'm quite fine." She reassured. "It's nothing a little bit of lembas bread cannot fix."

Almost immediately after her words, Legolas reached inside a green bag and took out lembas bread wrapped in cloth. He took a decently sized piece of it and held it out.

"Here, have a bit of mine."

Eliriel was quite taken aback from his action as she said the last bit as a joke, she wasn't really that hungry anyways.

"But I can't eat from your share you need to eat too, plus I have my own."

"We have plenty more of it Eliriel, this piece isn't going to cost me anything. Come on."

"But..."

Legolas gave her a look and she sighed in defeat. He wouldn't back down. She took the piece from his hands.

"Thanks." She said before taking a bite. Immediately after swallowing, she felt the healing effect of the bread spreading throughout her entire body.

Standing there in comfortable silence as Eliriel was eating her lembas bread, the elleth felt a sense of comfort she really needed at that moment. Legolas's worry over small things and his stubborn yet appreciated attitude made her forget about her troubles and responsibilities for a moment and put her mind at ease.

Once the elleth finished eating, the pair walked back to the camp. Aragorn was already awake when they got there and soon they started waking up the rest of them.
