Seungkwan stared at the reflection in the mirror, a mixture of emotions swirling inside him. It had been a month since he had found out he was pregnant, and while he still maintained a façade of indifference, a subtle change had occurred within him. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he had begun to bond with the little life growing inside him. Yet, he refused to let anyone see that softening; he was still committed to his "wild and free" persona, after all.

He sighed, knowing that keeping up the act would only get harder as time went on.

As Seungkwan continued to stare into the mirror, thoughts raced through his mind about how to navigate the next few weeks, particularly as he prepared to support his friend Jeonghan during his labor.

The others were buzzing with excitement, and the anticipation in the air was palpable. It felt surreal; just a month ago, Seungkwan had been filled with confusion and frustration about his own impending motherhood, but now he was stepping into the role of a supportive friend-if only just barely.

The day arrived, and the friends gathered at the hospital, filled with both excitement and a hint of nervous energy. Jeonghan was in labor, and it was anyone's guess how this would play out.

Vernon had taken a seat beside Seungkwan, who was pretending to scroll through his phone while actually watching the chaos unfold around them.

"Okay, everyone, calm down!" Jisoo said, trying to organize the crowd. "Let's give Jeonghan some space. He has got enough going on without us adding to his stress."

"Yeah, stress is the last thing he needs," Seungcheol said, nervously tapping his foot. He looked a little green around the gills, not exactly the picture of a supportive partner.

Suddenly, Jeonghan's voice echoed from the delivery room, sharp and furious. "You did this to me, Seungcheol! Why didn't you tell me I would be screaming like a banshee?!"

The group collectively winced. Seungkwan couldn't help but stifle a laugh at the sound of Jeonghan's indignation.

Seungcheol rushed inside the room holding Jeonghan's hand in his, closing the door behind. He felt a strange sense of camaraderie in that moment, even if he was still trying to sort through his own feelings about impending fatherhood.

"Uh, I didn't think you would actually be this loud," Seungcheol mumbled, cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

"Loud? I am about to kill you!" Jeonghan yelled, the pain evident in his voice.

"Okay, okay, you are doing great!" Jisoo called from the doorway, trying to keep the atmosphere light. "Just remember, this is all part of the process!"

Jeonghan's voice rang out again, dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, wonderful! I wouldd love to hear more about the 'process' while I am about to explode!"

"Hey, hey! Just focus on the baby, okay?" Seokmin chimed in, trying to soothe the situation. "This is going to be a beautiful moment for you and Seungcheol!"

"Beautiful? Seungcheol, did you forget to mention the part where I turn into a human balloon?" Jeonghan growled, and Seungkwan could almost hear the eye roll through the wall.

"Come on, it will be worth it! Just keep breathing, okay?" Seokmin urged, and it was clear that he was genuinely trying to help. But the room was thick with tension, and every outburst from Jeonghan only seemed to amplify it.

"Jisoo! You convinced me to keep this baby! What was I thinking?!" Jeonghan suddenly switched targets, throwing blame like confetti.

Jisoo raised his hands in mock surrender. "Hey, I just thought you would make a great mom! I didn't sign up for the labor and delivery part of it!"

"Seokmin! You were supposed to be my emotional, obedient child! Why you had to find a boyfriend like Jisoo into this?" Jeonghan's voice reached new heights, and Seungkwan could barely contain his laughter as he watched the unfolding drama.

"Uh, I thought we were trying to make this light-hearted?" Seokmin replied, glancing around nervously as the group's laughter erupted, filling the hallway.

As the moments dragged on, the tension broke a little, and Seungkwan found himself chuckling quietly at the ridiculousness of it all. For the first time in a while, he felt a sense of lightness wash over him. Watching his friends struggle through labor felt strangely cathartic, allowing him to let go of his own anxieties, if only for a little while.

"Okay, I'll take a turn at holding the baby when it arrives," Seungkwan joked, his eyes dancing with mischief. "Just make sure it doesn't come out yelling at me!"

A series of groans and chuckles echoed through the hallway as the friends gathered together, sharing in the camaraderie of the moment.

Just then, the door swung open, and a nurse emerged with a wide smile. "Congratulations, everyone! It's a boy!"

Cheers erupted around the group, and they rushed to Jeonghan's side as he was wheeled out, looking exhausted but undeniably joyful. Seungcheol was grinning from ear to ear, his earlier anxiety replaced by sheer happiness.

"Oh, look at him!" Seungkwan said, peering at the tiny bundle cradled in Jeonghan's arms. The sight of the baby boy was enchanting, and he felt a flicker of warmth deep inside him-an emotion he quickly pushed aside. "What are you going to name him?"

Jeonghan's eyes glimmered with pride. "We're naming him Tae-hyun. It means 'great present' in Korean, and I think that suits him perfectly!"

"Taehyun! His presence was really great!" Seokmin exclaimed, cooing over the baby while Jisoo snapped a picture.

As they passed the baby around, Seungkwan felt a pang in his chest, a strange mix of longing and fear. He was glad for Jeonghan, but deep down, he couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty about his own future.

Later, as the celebration continued and Jeonghan basked in the affection of his friends, Seungkwan found a quiet moment to step outside. He leaned against the wall, taking deep breaths as he tried to collect his thoughts.
