As the days continued to fly by, Seungkwan and Vernon found themselves embarking on an exciting adventure: preparing their small apartment for the arrival of their baby. The thought of becoming parents made Seungkwan giddy, but the task of setting everything up felt overwhelming at times. That's when Vernon's dorky enthusiasm kicked in, which both amused and exasperated Seungkwan.

"Are you ready for this?" Vernon asked, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet as they stood outside the mall, eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Ready as I will ever be," Seungkwan replied, trying to hide his nervousness. "Let's just try not to get sidetracked by every cute thing we see."

"Oh, come on! You know we have to check out everything!" Vernon insisted, grabbing Seungkwan's hand and leading him through the entrance. The mall was filled with vibrant stores selling all things baby-related, and Vernon's enthusiasm was infectious.

As they strolled through the aisles, Seungkwan marveled at the sheer variety of items available. "Look at this!" Vernon exclaimed, pointing to a plush giraffe that was nearly as tall as Seungkwan himself. "We have to get it for the nursery!"

"Vernon, that's ridiculous! We don't even have space for that!" Seungkwan laughed, shaking his head at the oversized stuffed animal.

Vernon pouted, his eyes wide. "But think about how cute it would look in the corner! Our baby will love it!"

Seungkwan chuckled, realizing there was no way to change Vernon's mind when he was set on something. "Fine, but only if we can find a crib first. That's our priority."

"Deal!" Vernon said, pumping his fist in the air. "Let's go find the perfect crib!"

After browsing through several stores, they finally found a crib that met both their needs. It was stylish and safe, with a lovely white finish that would match the rest of the nursery.

"Okay, we've got the crib," Seungkwan said, feeling a wave of relief. "Now let's focus on baby essentials."

Vernon nodded, but as they moved to the next aisle, his eyes landed on an array of baby gadgets and toys. "Look at all these cool things! We need a baby monitor, right? And what about a mobile for the crib? This one has little stars that light up!"

Seungkwan felt a mixture of amusement and exasperation. "Vernon, we can't just buy everything! We need to prioritize what we actually need."

"But what if the baby loves it?" Vernon pressed, grabbing a mobile and holding it above his head like a trophy. "This will keep them entertained!"

Seungkwan let out a soft laugh, shaking his head at Vernon's childlike excitement. "Alright, you can get the mobile, but we still need to find things like diapers, wipes, and clothes first."

"Okay, okay!" Vernon relented, placing the mobile back on the shelf with a dramatic sigh. "But only if you promise to let me pick out some cute clothes after!"

"Deal," Seungkwan said, unable to suppress his smile as they moved on to the baby essentials section.

As they made their way through the aisles, Vernon continued to add items to their cart. Each new addition was met with a mix of laughter and eye-rolling from Seungkwan. "Do we really need a bottle warmer? Can't we just use hot water?" Seungkwan asked as he examined the box.

"Where's the fun in that?" Vernon countered, grinning. "Plus, it'll make things easier for us in the middle of the night!"

"Fine, add it to the cart," Seungkwan conceded, already feeling his resolve weakening as Vernon excitedly tossed the bottle warmer into their cart.
