I was lost in thoughts as I sat at my desk, scrolling through work e-mails. Today was April 30, and the Eurovision semi-finals were just around the corner. It had been a whirlwind of preparations, rehearsals and interviews.

But despite the chaos, Martinus and I had never been happier. We had been public for two/three weeks now, and the support we were getting was overwhelming. Of course, there were haters here and there, but we didn't care.

I smiled to myself, but my smile quickly faded when I remembered that tomorrow was my birthday. I wasn't a huge fan of celebrating it. The attention made me uncomfortable, so I usually kept it low-key. In fact, I hadn't even told Marcus or Martinus that it was tomorrow. They were so busy with Eurovision, and I didn't want to distract them. They had big things ahead.

As I leaned back in my chair, lost in my thoughts, I felt someone watching me. I looked up to see Martinus standing at the door, leaning against the frame with a casual grin on his face.

My eyes narrowed playfully as I took in his appearance. He was dressed in a sleek, fitted black blazer with a white shirt underneath, his hair perfectly styled. Way more than usual for a day of rehearsals.

"Well, well, look at you. What's going on? Why are you out here looking all fine?"- I teased, sitting up straighter.

He chuckled, stepping into the room. "Well, I guess I'd surprise my girl with a little something extra today."- he said, sliding his hands into his pockets. "But I have an interview in five minutes, gotta look sharp for the cameras. Plus, Marcus and I have some business in town after that."

"You're still looking extra good..."- I teased. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close. His voice dropped to that flirtatious tone he knew I couldn't resist. "Maybe I'm just trying to impress my girlfriend. Is it working?".

I laughed, lightly pushing his chest. "Always working, Mr.Gunnarsen".

He leaned down, resting a hand on my desk as he looked at me with that boyish grin of his. "Can I get a good luck kiss before I go?".

I smiled, leaning in to meet his lips, giving him a soft kiss. "Good luck. I'll be watching you."- I whispered as we pulled apart. "Really?"- his eyes lit up.

"Yeah, I've got some time. I'll come sit in the audience and watch the interview. Can't miss the chance to see my man in action."- I said.

With that, I followed him down to the studio, finding a seat in the back of the small audience while Martinus joined Marcus on stage.

The interviewer started off with the usual questions- how they were feeling about Eurovision, how rehearsals were going, what their chances were.

Martinus, as always, was calm and confident, answering with grace and charm. Marcus, on the other hand, kept the energy light and fun, cracking jokes here and there.

Then, the interviewer smiled, glancing towards the audience. "So, Martinus, you've been in the spotlight for years now, but recently, there's been a lot of buzz about your relationship with Mathilda. In fact, I hear she's in the audience today".

The spotlight turned to me, and I felt my cheeks flush as the audience applauded. I waved shyly, smiling despite myself. Martinus looked over at me, his smile widening.

"So, how did you two meet? And how did you know she was the one?"- the interviewer continued, turning back to Martinus with a grin.

Martinus glanced at me, his eyes softening. He leaned forward, a nostalgic smile tugging at his lips. "We actually met at one of my concerts. Mathilda was "the first kiss girl". The audience let out a collective "awww" and I felt myself blush even harder.
