Lisa's POV

"bitch where are you? I came here to visit you but your secretary said you left early." Jisoo asked on the other line.

"I will pick up Jennie's daughter." I said nonchalantly while comfortably waiting for Jessie inside my car.

"God, are you the other parent of the kid? How come you are being responsible for other people's kid? As far as I know you hate kids, bro.." I can't help but roll my eyes.

"Her mother only asked me just now, she has an important interview and Jennie is not another person." I firmly said.

"yeah right I forgot that your one and only Jennie, is her mother, anyway I left some documents with your secretary I need your approval for that."

"I'll check on that tomorrow"

"okay, I'll go to your office again tomorrow, bye." She ended the call and just in time I saw Jessie walk out of the school gate.

I opened the window of my car and waved at her and she immediately ran to my car.

"where is mom?" She asked as she sat in the shotgun seat.

"She called me and said, she still had an interview that might end late so I'll pick you up first." I said to her casually.

To be honest, I'm not comfortable being with her because of what happened last night when she saw me naked, i know she's just a kid but i can't help but feel uncomfortable, but since I had no choice, I forced myself to be casual because it was obvious that this girl didn't care about what she saw.

I think i'm the only one who is over reacting, and it's weird.

We passed by a restaurant to take out food for our dinner because we don't have helpers today they asked for a day off for a reason that I didn't ask but I allowed them.

I was busy on my phone while waiting for our food when she called my name.

"why?" I asked casually.

" hmmf, can you buy me ice cream at the ice cream shop near your house? " Now, she looked like a kid who was too shy to ask.

This girl also has a soft side. I smiled thinking that this is the first time she asked me for something without giving me an attitude.

" Okay if that's what you want ." I responded calmly, which brought out a genuine smile on her face.

She didn't speak anymore so I just returned my attention to my phone.

"dad" she suddenly got up and ran to the table not far from where we were and for the first time i saw my half brother in person and if I mistaken he was with someone famous personalities in business.

" who are you?" I cringed when I heard his question to Jessie.

Is he such an ass hole that he can't recognize his daughter? What did this young lady do for his dad, to for him to hate her like this?

"Sorry but I don't have a daughter." I saw that Jessie looked down when she heard what her father said.

I approached her and grabbed Jessie's shoulder. "I apologize, you look so much like her dad that she thought he was you." I said apologetically to save Jessie from embarrassment.

"next time watch out for your daughter, she is disturbing my business meeting." I feel like I want to punch him the way he looks at Jessie as if she is his mortal enemy.
