Jennie's POV
All the employees I meet on my way to Taehyung's office greet me politely, like they always do when I visit him here at his company.
I honestly like how the employees here treat me, so as much as possible, i also give them my genuine smile, it's just sad that this is my last visit here.
When I arrived on the floor of his office, I immediately got Hyunji's attention.
I knew she had been looking forward to my arrival since earlier, she stood up to welcome me with a tight hug.
"Is he still here?" I ask her casually.
"Yes, and guess what, he's not in the mood since you arrived. The company is facing a lot of problems right now and some investors have already backed out and I don't think this is the right time for you to talk to him." She whispered so that the other employees wouldn't hear.
"don't worry I can handle him, just please do me a favor, can you message Lisa that I'm okay here, because I don't want her to be unable to focus on her presentation when she thinks about what's going on here." I was irritated because since I left, she has been messaging me non-stop.
"Okay, I'll message her. Do you want me to announce your presence?" she looks concerned.
"No need, I'll take care of it." I tapped her on the shoulder before opening the door.
"I already said that I will only call if I need anything." he is shouted but he wasn't able to finish what he was going to say when he saw me.
"Hi" I greeted him casually putting a faint smile on his lips.
I can't say that Taehyung, is a really handsome man, but it's not just about the physical appearance, but also the attitude and behavior.
I'm just lucky that Lisa has everything and I love her so much.
He stood up and came to me smiling before he hugged me tightly.
"You didn't tell me you were going to visit, I'm sorry if I didn't message you these past few days, I was just busy taking care of the company's problem." he was so calm and tender when stroking my back.
He's like this, he'll disappear like a bubble for a few days and then come back as if everything is fine and i hate that i don't know how to interpret this kind of behavior of him.
He broke the hug and surprisingly she claimed my lips, I didn't have a chance to move away.
I tried hard to push him and i managed to break the kiss, i immediately wiped my lips.
Lisa would really be upset, if she found out that Taehyung kissed me.
"what's wrong?" he looks confused.
"God, are you numb, or something? We're not okay, Taehyung and for you to know I were serious the last time we talked." I said bravely.
He calmly returned to his desk and he didn't speak, he just sat with his two hands on his head.
"taehyung let's end this, sorry but everything is so toxic. I tried to keep our marriage even though it's only on paper, I tried to keep this marriage but you never made an effort to spend time with us, with me and the worst of all you can't accept your own daughter." I exclaimed.
He didn't respond but I could hear his soft sobs.
"I have already consulted with a lawyer and even without your approval, our marriage can be annulled because of the agreement we signed before we got married and I am here today to inform you that our divorce has been processed and it will be approved anytime soon. Maybe you will change your mind and you want to spend time with your daughter, I won't stop you because that's your right as her father."
