Jennie's POV
I didn't expect the process of my divorce with Taehyung, to be this easy.
I mean I expected that there would be a conflict in the filing because Taehyung, still doesn't agree about it. But because of the agreement we signed before we got married, everything was easy and i'm very thankful that i kept the original copy of that agreement.
The only thing i will do for now is to wait for it to be approved, whether he agrees or not, there is nothing he can do about my decision.
I was very reassured because Rosie assured me that there would be no problem in the process.
I am here today at my desk in Lisa's office, because after our conversation about divorce with Rosie, Lisa has transformed from being my soft and annoying Lili to a serious boss.
She was seriously instructing me about my work and the same with her schedules and appointments throughout the week.
I didn't even notice that she stole a glance at me that annoyed me, but I understand that she needs to focus on her work.
I was busy creating an email for clients when suddenly Lisa's secretary, came in with a milkshake and a cinnamon roll and brought it to Lisa's desk.
"thank you." Lisa said who didn't even glance at her secretary.
I returned to what I was doing when Lisa's secretary suddenly came and handed me the envelope. "This is Miss Manoban's additional schedule." I accepted it kindly but I was surprised that she looked with her serious face.
"Next time, don't wear an above-the-knee skirt and I notice that you keep on staring at Miss Manoban. I hope that your focus is on work and not on our boss." She whispered softly which surprised me but before I could react she was already out the door.
What the heck, what right does she have to reprimand me? I asked myself.
I came back to my right mind when I noticed that the switchglass around Lisa's office became blurred, just like when we were talking with Rosie earlier, I think she switches it on for privacy so that the employees outside can't see what's going on inside.
Wait, what is he planning? I was suddenly nervous and I was surprised to see that the milkshake and cinnamon roll brought by Lisa's secretary was in front of me.
"what?" I asked Lisa who was smiling at me, she's standing in front of my table.
"I ordered my secretary to buy it for you, I don't want the real boss to go hungry." She softly patted my head.
" but what about you? Let's share." I offered to her and to my surprise she bent down and claimed my lips but before I could respond, she broke the kiss and kissed me on the forehead.
"okay, I'm now full of your kiss, I think it will last until dinner." She winked at me. "Eat that, I know it's your favorite." She added before returning to her desk.
I'm speechless, I was just smiling while staring at her, she mouthed I love you and I finally focused on what her was doing.
I ate the food she gave with a smile, she is so thoughtful I love her.
After consuming the snack that Lisa gave me, I threw the trash in the trash can in the small pantry inside her office and when I sat down in my seat, the glass of her office immediately became clear again.
Her secretary looked at me suspiciously but she immediately focused on her work.
What did I do wrong to her? I really hate the way she looked at me a while ago and I was still confused by what she whispered earlier.
I just shook my head to get rid of my thoughts about her before I brought the laptop to Lisa to let her check the email before I sent it to her clients.
"Lili, I just want you to review this before I send it." She stopped what she was doing and looked at the laptop.
I was nervous when she looked at me , with a scary expression. "Is there something wrong with what I did?" I asked her bluntly.
" you did a great job, Nini! I just don't want my employees outside to see my soft side. They just look focused on their work, but they're watching our movements here inside." She said that without any emotion.
I unconsciously looked outside and did I notice that some of them were looking at us but they immediately turned away when they noticed that I was looking at them.
God, so this is the reason why Lisa seemed serious about ignoring me when her glass wall cleared? because there were so many eyes watching us?
"and I didn't know it was this hard that you are my personal assistant, it's hard to pretend to be serious but I really want to hug you right now." She added seriously.
She made me feel flattered even though she said it without any emotion.
I tried to suppress my smile and act seriously. "I was upset earlier, i thought you were ignoring me Honey, now i know why." My face is serious but I purposely make my voice seductive.
I wanted to laugh when I saw how Lisa clenched her fist when she heard the tone of my voice and I was shocked when she hit her table hard to make the people outside stare at us.
" this is not what I am asking you to do." Her voice was so loud that I knew it could be heard outside.
This is the first time that she shouted at me, I'm so confused.
I feel scared when she hits the table again before she pressed the switchglass button the reason for the wall to blur again and I was surprised when she pulled me to sit on her lap.
" I'm sorry for shouting, Nini, that's just an act so they don't doubt what will happen next, do you know that what you did was very naughty, Nini?" She whispered in my ear which gave me goosebumps.
What the heck, I didn't expect this, I was honestly scared when she shouted.
"Lisa, we are in the office." I whispered with fear, backing away a little bit because I knew any moment her secretary would come in.
"I'm the boss here, Nini, I'll do whatever I want. Don't worry no one will try to enter this office if they know I'm angry."
she didn't give any time for me to think, she pulled the me closer to her, sealing my lips on hers.
I didn't refuse because I'm honestly addicted to Lisa's kiss, i'm craving for it, so on the contrary, I wrapped my arms around Lisa's neck and reciprocated her kiss in a slow and delicious way.
We both lost in the moment I don't know how long the slow but passionate kiss we shared until our breath decided to stop the kiss.
We both gasped as our foreheads pressed together and I was the first to giggle.
"look who can't hold back now?" I tried to tease her.
"stop provoking me, I'm trying my best to know my limitation but you are very good at temping." she pecked my lips before gently pushing me off her lap.
I couldn't help but smile as she handed me the laptop.
"You can already send that to my client, Nini, I will now switch the glass into clear just act normal not unless you already want me to announce to everyone that you're mine." she smiled for the last time and she turned her face into serious before she pressed the button and everything became visible from outside.
I lazily returned to my desk and I noticed that Lisa's secretary was smirking.
I guess she thought Lisa scolded me.
Just wait until my divorce approved and i'll show you how i shove my tongue at the back of Lisa's throat right in front of you.
I ignored that bitch and went back to my work.
