Jennie's POV
It's been a week since I've been working here at Lisa's company, and I'd be a liar if I said that my blood doesn't boil every day that I'm here.
Not because of my job and Lisa, but because of her secretary and her friends who did nothing but annoys me every day.
It's a good thing that somehow Lisa calms me down, every time I'm fuming with anger.
I'm glad that I forget all my stressful days at work every time I go home and see how the two important people in my life get along.
It's also been a week since Lisa talked to Jessie, I don't know what they talked about, I didn't ask the two of them about it, but I noticed that my daughter became even more closer to Lisa.
She loves to cuddle with Lisa, whenever we watch her favorite shows and Lisa, is the one she always looks for when she has homework.
I don't want to be emotional but i can't stop myself, every time I see a heartwarming scene in front of me i'm so happy that Lisa, is willing to spend time with my daughter.
I love how she makes Jessie feel that their being different is not an obstacle for you to live normally like other people, Jessie became so clingy to Lisa that sometimes she focused more on Lisa than on me, which her own mother, but i'm not complaining.
Speaking of Lisa, she definitely learned her lesson when Jessie saw us kissing. She doesn't want to explain herself to my daughter again, so she never kisses me when Jessie is around.
but God! I hate her when she initiates an intense kiss that leads us both to become sexually frustrated, because she suddenly stops because of her stance that it's wrong to have sex while I'm still married.
can i do anything else?
No , because i tried so many times to be naked in front of her but she stopped me and she stops herself and I'm annoyed that her self control is strong.
I came back from deep thought when someone knocked on the door and Lisa's secretary came in. I secretly rolled my eyes because I was really annoyed by her presence since i saw her this morning.
"Miss Manoban, these are all the documents you are asking me to find." She said gently, I looked at Lisa and I noticed that she was frowning while reading the document while her pestering secretary was turning her back to me.
She was on her back, but it was obvious that she was deliberately bringing her body closer to Lisa and this monkey Lisa, I know that she knows her secretary's intention to touch her but she just ignores it.
"why is it the quotation of the equipment to be used in the photo shoot are not here?" asked Lisa.
"oh sorry Ms. I'll check on my table again, maybe I'll just miss it." Lisa handed the folder to her and my blood boiled when her secretary took it from her and intentionally touched her hand that made my blood boil but I was shocked when Lisa, pressed the switchglass four privacy.
" you know what, i noticed everything Leah,
i know you've been giving me a lot of mixed signals, but i always ignore it because i want to avoid awkward confrontation, but please, just if you don't want us to have a problem here, avoid touching me because I don't want to give my future wife any reason to doubt me, so please just do your job and i will forget what happened." Lisa said casually that made me secretly smile.
"I'm so sorry Miss." her secretary said nervously before finally exiting looking at the floor.
When she passed by my table she looked at me with anger, but I just smirked in response.
If Lisa just let her secretary touch her without being told, I would really be angry with her but she stopped her, and i'm proud of her, maybe she knew that I would be mad because this past few days that's what we were arguing about, her secretary being so flirt with her.
Lisa looked at me nervously, I stood up and approached her with a serious face. "I stopped her, didn't I?"
I caressed her face and smiled before pecking her on the lips. "I just came to say that I love you and I just hope that you will do the same when I'm not here." She hummed in relief before she wrapped her arms around my waist as she sat on her seat and I was between her legs.
"I was scared because you might get mad but I'm not really interested in her Nini, I don't think of any other woman but you. I love you too Nini." she talks like a baby.
"I know honey, but I just want to let you know that I won't be able to accompany you to your meeting later, but I have prepared all the reports you need." I caressed her cheek.
"but why?"she looked disappointed.
"Hyunji messaged me that Taehyung is in the office right now. I think I really need to talk to him for proper closure before the divorce is approved." Lisa frowned.
"You don't need his approval, why do you need to visit him?" Lisa exclaimed.
"I know that his approval is not needed to approve the divorce, but I just don't want the idea that he doesn't know that our papers are in the process and I also want to talk to him about Jessie, even though he hasn't been a good father to our daughter, I still hope she will accept Jessie." I tried to explain to her calmly because of the expression on her face, it was obvious that she was not up to what I wanted to happen.
"Just cancel my meeting, I'll go with you." She let go of my waist and turned her attention to her laptop and I knew she was upset.
"Babe, there's no need. I can handle Taehyung and for your peace of mind, Hyunji is there, you can ask her for an update and you know she won't let me get hurt." I kissed her on the cheek and sat on her lap again. "nothing will be bad happen to me, I promise I'll be home before dinner." I caressed her cheek.
"okay fine, but I want the company driver to bring you there." she said sternly.
"if that's what makes you feel better." I kissed her on the lips before leaving her lap but she pulled me back.
"don't let him kiss you." she looks so upset.
"I thought you didn't want to send me there because you were afraid he would hurt me, but it turns out you were just jealous." I pouted and pretended to be upset.
"hey of course I'm also afraid that he will hurt you but." I cut her off with a kiss.
"I love you and I promise I won't let him kiss me." I smiled at her as she fixed my hair.
"okay please be careful, I love you" she finaly let go of me and slapped my ass before I could get away.
"hey why would you do that?" I pretend to be upset.
" nothing, I just imagine if how do you look like when your naked it's been a while since the time i saw you without anything." she winked at me.
"oh just for you to know, I'm willing to be naked in front of you but you're the only one who doesn't want it.". I rolled my eyes.
I'm really annoyed every time we have our intense making out session that should lead us to make love but suddenly she remembers about the divorce and suddenly she stops.
"I know you know why.". She shrugged.
"yeah yeah yeah right, it's about my fucking marriage again and i really hated it." i march back to my table that made her chuckle.
