Thomas's POV:
It's the next day. It seems that Jaune's classes take a bit to finish up, so, I should start heading for Beacon today. After all, it would be nice to see what makes Beacon so special. Though, that is a long walk. I then look around, seeing if there is a carriage nearby that would be offering transportation. As I go through the street, I happen to find a taxi cab, but unfortunately... It's a car, not a carriage. I know that I'll get sick if I use it,but there is nothing else around.
I sigh, but go to the driver's side.
Thomas: "Hello there, I was wondering if you could drive me up to Beacon's main entrance?"
Cab Driver: "Sure. Hop in the back and I'll get you there."
I do so, opening the passenger door and going in. Once I sit down, he drives off. Luckily, he's not going too fast, but I can feel my stomach churning already. I suck it up though, and wait till we get to Beacon before I relieve myself. As the car goes, I look outside the window. I never truly realized how beautiful this world is. It's brighter than my own, far more populated than my own, and far more safer too.
After a few minutes of driving, we get to Beacon. I rushed out of the car and went to a nearby bush, throwing up. Such a horrid display. The driver then comes up to me.
Cab Driver: "Heh, car sickness eh? Here, take this, it'll make you feel better."
He then handed me a small pill. I then take it. Once I paid him and waited a few minutes, my sickness had alleviated and I was feeling far better. I then walk up to the entrance of Beacon, and look up. It was... Magnificent. Tall towers, about reaching the clouds almost. The road paved with stones finely cut, placed, and secured. Then there were the trees, their leaves a bright orange, just like the trees I had seen when I had first come to Vale. Though, now that I'm no longer in a crashed Bullhead with a dead pilot, it's almost a tranquil feeling being surrounded by such beauty.
I then shake my head, knowing I should focus more on training Jaune then admiring the scenery. I go into the main building, biting the interior clean and sleek design. I then make it to the front desk, and meet a woman with blonde hair. She also has a pair of glasses and a purple cape on her back, and a... Riding Crop for some reason. She then notices me.
Glynda Goodwitch: "Oh, hello. Might I ask why you are here?"
She says, her eyes scanning my form and clothes.
Thomas: "I'm here to pick up a boy named Jaune. He and I agreed to training today, so I'm here to pick him up after class."
Mrs. Goodwitch's eyes narrow slightly, seemingly surprised by the fact I'm here to train Jaune. She then looks at her watch on her wrist and looks on a... Scroll? Or something that looks like a scroll but bigger.
Mrs. Goodwitch: "Alright sir. His classes should be coming to an end here shortly."
Thomas: "Uh, there's no need to call me sir, miss. I'm actually 18."
Mrs. Goodwitch then immediately looks up, a surprised look on her face. She then frowns and looks at me dismissively.
Mrs. Goodwitch: "I'm sorry sir, but I highly doubt you're 18. You look far older than what you say, and really, I don't like jokes."
Thomas: "I actually have my I.D. on me, maybe that could clear things up."
I then pull out my I.D. and hand it to her. She takes it immediately, looking at it. As she reads through it, she sees that truly, I am 18.
Mrs. Goodwitch: "What!? You really are 18? Then why do you look so..."
She blushes a bit before handing my I.D. back to me.
