For the next few weeks, the trio worked tirelessly to expand their club. Word was starting to spread around the school about the mysterious cabin in the woods, and a few more kids had shown interest in joining their cleanup efforts. But not everything was going smoothly.

One afternoon, as they gathered at the hideout with a group of new recruits, Tara noticed something strange. The pile of tools they had brought for their cleanup project-rakes, trash bags, and gloves-was missing.

"Where did everything go?" Tara asked, frowning as she searched the area. "We left it all here yesterday."

Eli scratched his head. "Maybe someone moved it?"

But after searching the entire cabin, it was clear that the tools had been taken.

Alex felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. "You don't think... it was those older boys, do you?"

Tara's face hardened. "They wouldn't dare. We told them this was our place."

Eli sighed. "Well, whoever it was, they took everything. We'll have to replace the tools if we want to keep going."

The disappointment was palpable, especially since they had been making such great progress with the club. The kids who had shown up for that day's meeting looked unsure, as if they weren't sure whether to stick around.

Alex, sensing the mood, stepped forward. "We'll get the tools back," he said confidently. "In the meantime, we can still hang out and talk about ideas for the cabin. This place isn't just about the cleanup-it's about us."

Tara smiled, grateful for Alex's positive attitude. "Yeah! We can still plan out our next project. Maybe Sarah can bring some sketches for the cabin, and we can come up with ways to decorate it."

The group rallied around the idea, and soon enough, the mood lightened. They spent the rest of the afternoon drawing up plans for new shelves, talking about potential projects for the neighborhood, and sharing stories about their favorite books and hobbies.

By the time the sun set, everyone had forgotten about the missing tools.
