Later that week, as Alex, Tara, and Eli gathered at the cabin, they couldn't shake the feeling that something-or someone-was out to sabotage their club. The missing tools had been the first sign, but over the next few days, other strange things started to happen. The blankets they had brought for the cabin disappeared, and one of the lanterns was smashed on the ground outside.

"It's them," Tara said firmly, pacing around the cabin. "It has to be those older boys. They're trying to scare us off."

Eli nodded, his expression dark. "Yeah, and they think we'll just give up. But they're wrong."

Alex, though frustrated, tried to keep calm. "We've dealt with them before. We can handle this."

But as the days went on and the mysterious sabotage continued, the pressure began to take its toll on the trio. Tara, normally full of energy and optimism, grew more frustrated with each passing day. Eli, usually the one to crack jokes and keep things light, seemed more distant, his anger simmering beneath the surface.

One afternoon, as they gathered to discuss their next move, Tara finally snapped.

"This is getting ridiculous!" she said, her voice louder than usual. "We can't keep fixing things just for them to mess it all up again! What's the point?"

Eli, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, shook his head. "We can't let them win, Tara. That's exactly what they want."

"But we're not winning either!" Tara shot back. "We're just... stuck."

The tension in the room was thick, and Alex could feel it weighing down on all of them. He didn't want to admit it, but he was starting to feel the same way. The constant setbacks were exhausting, and it felt like they were fighting an uphill battle.

"We'll figure it out," Alex said quietly, trying to reassure them. "We've come too far to give up now."

But deep down, he wasn't sure how much more they could take.
